Don't sweat the short term US yield activity, it's still historically low and the last couple of weeks of increases in the nominal rates highlights a dislocation in the long term trend lines rather than a signal of long term yellow bearishness.

Gold is in a no lose situation now imo, re rates... Rates don't go anywhere then you're losing money as real rates are negative... This is a type of negative inflation.. Inflation erodes the value of cash and debt investments.

Rates rise from such low levels and any increases are exponential increases. Or super inflation. Imagine borrowing at 1% and then rates go to 2% still very low interest rates historically but for you, your interest payments have doubled.

Now consider how much debt has been leveraged since 2008? Central banks have a huge headache and problem to try and solve.

One share at full BID followed by another 18 shares. MM's will need to move the bid.
