Same as you PIface,
I've message x-o this morning and just got this reply...
Good morning,
Please note that we do not send out notice of shareholder meetings as it is not part of the service we offer.
We can though submit a voting instruction on your behalf.
To do this, please confirm your instruction to us along with your account number. We need any instruction to be sent to us at least 1 week before the meeting is due to take place. As the meeting for Eurasia is next week we cannot guarantee this will be actioned, but if you can send us an instruction as soon as possible we may be able to action this on a best endeavours basis.
Please note, there is also a fee of £20 + VAT per account to vote at a shareholder meeting. Please also confirm acceptance of this fee with your instruction.
Kind regards,
So think i'll give it a miss. £24 for a vote that may not be cast!
I'm pretty simple when it comes to this kind of stuff, so please excuse my stupid question!
But, in Andre's example, can someone explain why an MM would put a sell order on the book (at 22p in the example) if the share price is currently 28p, and give the impression someone was offloading? Surely they'd offload at 28p?
Apologies again for the no-doubt dumb question!
Thanks
