ok another sell off day - there is value here so I am sticking....

I too am a LTH who sold out so back to try and recoup but I do think there are differences to when we were invested with Hutch and Carver and Hendos selling at an artificial manipulated premium to get their money back with profit.

I have said this before do not underestimate the role Petrol have to play in this now and they want gas flowing into their region under their control so the sooner this is all sorted out then that can happen - there is no way it will be flowing to Croatia and INA.....
By the way not unusual to see a share fall back a bit after good news and before more - hold on and time your exits carefully.

I too lost but am back as I think the claim is too strong and there will be a compromise plus Petrol want the gas to execute it's lofty gas strategy and Slovenia are not strong enough to have negative press in terms of outside investment into their country - they cannot grow without it so think there is a short term gain here for those that want it - it has increased remember from 2-3p to 12p - a very big leap for those that want and have taken some reward - how much further will it go - I think I would be happy getting out in the high teens to early 20's.......remember too in our day we only really had retail investors with shares (apart from Hendersons and the likes) but now we have some institutions invested here - JP may be a City man but he knows when to bring in the more institutional investors...Think I will stick around a little longer GLA

Hulie yep - really thought there would be more buying at this stage into news (may not just be settlement news either)
Patience is key here - hold on to your shares they should travel north very quickly on any positive news!!

now will push this North - that could be on Cuba, settlement or new business opportunities - it just needs some news to fuel this.
I do believe we are in a very strong position and a settlement will be taken as no point in pursuing a long Legal process for either side.

Not been able to buy £500 via Lloyds for last 1 hour plus....

we can still buy at 12.50 after the recent RNS - to our benefit of course and I do believe it will gain traction very soon and climb into further news....GLA

I have been in AST for a long time - sold a load at a large loss then bought in again when I heard this was going Legal. I am in the Industry at a Senior level and am aware of the legal ramifications in terms of Legal challenges to countries not supporting foreign entities and this for me was a 'no brainer' when I heard they were going to challenge the Slovenian Govt. For me this will end in a settlement and whatever it will be and will probably (IMO) be a cash plus permits deal which will allow AST to get Gas to Petrol to sell which is linked to the growth strategy of Petrol to supply the region - they will not want this to go to Croatia via INA - so again the fortunes will change here and with the other strings to their bow then the odds of this succeeding are high in my humble opinion......GLA but lot's of upside here and no not ramping just believe now in the path ahead (on the Gas front anyway) Cuba and other business interests are not in my sphere of knowledge.

We are at this level after yesterday - the more I read and study on this think Slovenia will come to a compromise and pay a smaller amount and give all relevant permits to allow Petrol to sell in the country - they will not want it to flow, when and if operational, to INA and Croatia...all IMO

Read the RNS properly and the Slovenian Govt want to settle without any Legal proceedings - get in now whilst this low....not ramping just the way it is and is finally playing out...

Think this company may be pulling a few Govt strings here too - their strategy is very much to increase their share of gas market....DYOR
