Dai, I suspect Malcy picked up on some old Hannam reports. I suspect Tai is higher than a 20% C.O.S. and that’s why they changed the drilling schedule. The C.O.S. Figure was based on data prior to the new seismic and for the previous first drill location?

Is that a 20 percent chance of a show or it going on to be appraised and becoming a producer?

I merely made an observation. I wasn’t being antagonistic. Having read many posts from chartists over the years, mainly on iii, it’s rare to see agreement on predictions.
Everyone seems to have a different strategy and there’s rarely agreement. If it works for you, that’s great.

I’d always assumed gold was a good hedge against inflation, in fact I thought it was a standard investment strategy.

However, researching this recently led me to question the wisdom of this practice.

I’d wondered this too. I assumed the drilling fluids played a part in preventing loss of helium until the well can be capped.

Obstando. I think you’d be surprised. I’ve known many AIM companies where locals receive snippets of news from mates on rigs. There used to be a contact on the Falkland Islands when Rockhopper were drilling Sealion. Much detailed info was released.

You’ve previously kindly provided me with a link that stated appraisal work would start in Nov.

However DM when talking about Mitchell Drilling stated:

“The drill rig is larger than originally contracted, although at no additional cost, and is suitable for drilling 6¾" appraisal wells.

“This will allow the company to move directly from exploration into the appraisal phase....”

I took this to mean that after the first well is drilled they’d go to appraisal if there are helium shows. However, does he mean after all the drills are completed they’ll start appraisal?

It’s been suggested by several knowledgeable posters that evidence of helium may be found just days into the drill. That being the case how quickly will be know if there’s an effective seal. Will we have to drill in numerous other locations to ascertain the effectiveness and type of seal?
