How many claimants are there ? we all would like to know this i am sure, optimistically could there be less than we think ?
How can the FCA defend someone who for instance have lied on their application and or the guarantor has ?
I know a example as to what some of these people are like, 2 years ago i knew someone who excepted being a guarantor ,and when amigo started sending out letters to her because of late payments of the borrower she pretended she hadn't understood the application which was a lie, however she didn't get away with it.
Now what i am saying is how can the FCA support such people ? and there are many,because their are lots of desperate people out their who will do it just to get the money regardless ,how do you weed all these people out ? i know for a start that apart from anything else the telephone conversations are recorded from the applicants, so its hard to wriggle out of what you have stated which is why i believe alot of claims although not all will ultimately fail.

re the transfer of assets and shareholder dividends ,neither was going to happen anyway, there would not have been a dividend inside of a year in any case so whats the diff between post announcement and pre announcement...nothing

Well thats typical of the FCA isnt it ? they have a tendency to try to punish companys as if its their fault, remember they blocked dividends with the banks too, i fail to see why that should help the situation and, i believe Amigo had know intention of paying a divi anyway, i certainly wasn't expecting one. trouble is they choke companys with regulation, once they get their teeth into something but lets hope not.

Well i think for the money its quite a sensible move but, i wouldn't like to think the money raised was all going to be spent on this sort of thing otherwise he would be asking us he was raising more money again, i would hope there now was going to be a very long period of time consolidating what they already have and anything further was going to come out of profit

JUSTBE....i agree but, lets put this behind us now, it serves no purpose in dwelling on it ,lets look ahead with confidence as to whats going on .UJO reports have never let us down and are so far living up to events.
