RE: Doing well after v bad RNS21 Dec 2020 15:42
What about irresponsible borrowers ? were they blind to their own situation at the time ? , have they no knowledge of the fact they couldn't afford a loan ,not just them but believe it or not the guarantors also .. and the money grabbing business leechs of who claim to represent them, where have we seen all this before where every man and his dog have a bogus claim BP, and also the banks.
Dont you think the FCA are a little naive to believe these dumb claims from borrowers who were so desperate for money they lied on their claims forms.. Let us for once have a level playing field. Its really no good believing some of these borrowers is it? They knew what they were doing alright ..free money for all is it? JB knew what could happen with the FCA ,and he realized the rules in the UK are bloody well ridicule's thats why he wanted to extend abroad where there was more common sense...AMIGO haven't done nothing wrong really The borrowers filled in forms, had recorded phone conversation had guarantor's ,what more can you ask . The likely reason that alot of claims have gone through is because amigo had one arm up their backs by the FCA of who is like a dog with a bone. fortunatly they now have on their board a man that worked before for the FCA nad thats a very shrewd move . my big question now is how long? for the response. and, what will be the responce ? The fact that they now have a ex FCA man on the board should give them a idea, in fact it would not surprize me that he perceived most of the application so we will see because if this fails i dont know where this would leave amigo unless they have a backup plan to fall back on ,we will see.
