I think the 1st half of the year has been solid and the outlook away from the middle East will be positive obviously the war will have an impact on overall performance let's hope it's limited although it's going to be very difficult to offer an outlook based on current events. I trust Leo Quinn to lead from the front and offer reward to shareholders who back him

Next trading update 5th March hopefully leading up to that and with a possible update on the fca situation this SP will breakthrough and head north towards £8.00

That’s his 2nd big purchase within a month he’s splashed out over £250,000 of his own money so he’s confident the FCA won’t uncover something serious

Good to see a 6% increase in travel numbers to over 47million from Ryanair

Maybe they increased expecting a drop off due to it being the Ex Dividend Date today which usually means a drop off in SP but WH Smith’s seems to be holding

This is a great appointment from board it’s a real show of intent. Leo Quinn trebled the SP of Balfour Beatty in the decade he was there. He’s invested 2m of his own capital and is on a hugely ramped up bonus based on performance this guys the real deal and its a real exciting time to be a shareholder if you were lucky enough to take advantage of the low SP of recent times. Onwards and upwards from here IMO

I think it's contributing to the flat SP also the fact nobody with experience of the American travel retail market has been recruited since the error also no CEO with the relevant credentials to excite the big investors at the moment. Patience is key here because there is a good business hiding behind this mess of a quarter, hopefully with some constructive news in the near future around new arrivals confidence will slowly return.

In my opinion on the whole it's because it's a solid company in the 2 biggest markets EV and Data Centres which are also lead by Lord NR who knows what he's doing. IMO Volex is one of the best investments out there and the results are consistent always robust with a strong outlook. I've held a position with an AP of £2.94 which I purchased after the failed TT bid since last November off loading a few and making a point of always adding before results day. GLA

Max Izzard CFO purchased 20,000 @ 6.40 total value £120,000

With Air Travel at its highest levels since the pandemic and expected to grow rapidly year on year , growth in all divisions and an increase of 5% for revenue. Not to mention the short positions reducing and a bulky buy of shares from the CFO gives me optimism for the new year. Also once the new CEO is announced this should be a very attractive proposition one I’m happy to remain firmly invested in. IMO of course

We are all expecting lower end of forecasts but I'm more interested to know how they are restructuring the finance team in North America who's being brought in and who's leaving and latest developments with recruiting the new CEO.

PWC Just being thorough as they aslo can't make any more errors and this was a late audit due to Delloites investigation. Shorts have decreased and all bad news is out the bag so quietly confident the 19th will be bullish.

Seems to be what the market is thinking at the moment after a steady rise.

The best bad news RNS we could have hoped for.. the biggest risk to investors were if further accounting errors were found in Europe or ROW which they weren’t. The CEO leaving is great news because if the new CEO has good pedigree it adds strength to the SP and I personally think this is now a sitting duck for a take over the new owners would implement there own ideas and innovation in America would be great just my opinion. Good luck all and for me this has plenty of legs in it.

With the results expecting to be 16/12 I expect upward movement from 21 days out. I purchased more today and have a large holding from the drop. So long as no further errors in the accounts are uncovered this should in my opinion be an opportunity that doesn't come around very often

My biggest concern at the moment is that the new date is after the budget

I thinks it’s just procedure, if there is good news about this it’s that Deloitte have not deemed the error severe enough to suspend the stock. This just give all parties more time to complete all formalities correctly
