I think I probably laughed more than I should have at the analogy regarding the drill project at Havieron ! 😃

Anyway, if as forecast by some, a few years down the line if Havieron and Telfer are running smoothly in tandem and producing 500k Oz per annum does anyone have any thoughts on what the average AISC would be for the combined operation ?

Additionally, for how long do we think that level of production could be maintained with the resources the company realistically has or potentially has in its locker ?

Any calculated thoughts on this would be very much appreciated

100% agree. I'm surprised more people aren't talking about this, if oil was trading at the price it was a couple of years back inflation would be going through the roof.

Makes me wonder if the current oversupply is deliberate in order to keep the lid on things and allow for interest

Never forget that for several years the SP for a gold exploration company is just a number on a screen and isn't to be used as a guide to where it could end up. I've had many stocks like this one before. The last one I sold was bouncing around at 4p for years and then it slowly began to move and then eventually it was a bagger x21.

Patience is key here and real investors need to be asking what it might be worth in the years to come rather than weeks but overall this company has a lot going for it.

No doubt there'll be all sorts of weird and wonderful market dealing going on in the coming months with GGP and I would say in the meantime dont pay too much attention to the share price (unless you're looking to buy)

Once there are a couple more quarters of millions £ of free cash flow reported, circumstances regarding ASX listing have calmed down and Haveiron feasibility study is published then the upward trajectory of the Mkt Capitalisation will take care of itself.

The only thing that I find mildly frustrating about this stock right now is that I don't have any more capital to buy more at these bargain prices.

Oh well, I'm locked and loaded so I'll just watch on with my beer and popcorn

It's frustrating if you allow it to be but the truth is the current SP is just a number on a screen, it's almost almost an irrelevance to those of us who are invested in the medium/long term of the project. This is the kind of stock where one could invest a significant amount and then only check the SP perhaps a couple of times a year for the next 4 years and I'm sure you'd make out very nicely!

I check what's going on with the company on a regular basis because as well as being an investor I have real passion and interest for the mining industry particularly that of gold and copper, that's not to say I'm not interested in a healthy return on my investment but as I said the current SP is near here or there to me, my own investment plan dictates that I won't even consider selling any ggp stock until late 2029 at the earliest by which time I hope that Havieron will be firing on all cylinders. So much to look forward to in watching the growth and progress of this company and with a genuinely world class management team I'm delighted to have it in my portfolio, it really is a wonderful investment opportunity of the type we don't see too often

Out of curiosity has anybody heard any forecast or estimate on AISC for Havieron as and when it's in full production or is that only something we will hear about once the feasibility study is completed? I think I heard Shaun say at some point that costs of mining Hav are less than those of Telfer but maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part !

But on a serious note if anyone has any thoughts or info regarding this I'd be very grateful indeed.

I find it peculiar that some people have concerns and/queries regarding next month's cross listing.

I am invested in several companies that are cross listed, and two of them completed a cross listing and a share consolidation at the same time, so for those who aren't familiar with this believe me when I say it will not in any way change the basic situation regarding your current holding and the way in which you would buy or sell any shares in the future, in fact other than the initial and inevitable change in share price and number of shares you own, after that you will barely notice any difference unless you deliberately choose to trade shares on a different exchange but that aside it will be very much business as usual.

I expect there will be considerable interest from overseas institutions wishing to buy Greatland shares on ASX, but other than sending the share price north you won't be affected. Just carry on regardless.

Just found time to watch Shaun's brief presentation and Q & A and I'm glad I did as it was most interesting.

Particularly interesting I thought was his ambition to grow the Havieron asset through discovery as time goes on, I did pay a lot of attention but I don't think I could find too much in the way of hints as to just what size in terms of Au ounces he thinks that might become. Just wondered if anybody has heard him previously implying the potential size of the asset?

Could it eventually be as much as 10, 12 or even 15 million ounces? If anybody has any existing insight regarding this I'd be very interested to know.

Was also good to hear questions from one or two names I recognize from these shareholder discussion boards. I've never met or spoken to Shaun but I'm guessing he to is now familiar with some of you guys who are active on LSE discussion forum.

But overall I can't fail to be constantly impressed by Mr Day and his team, Greatland is currently my largest investment and that is to a great extent down to the trust I have in our CEO, for now I've stopped short of placing a portrait of him on my office wall but that may well happen by FY 2028!

Anyway, we are now entering a truly exciting period for GGP and I'm sure the ongoing developments for the remainder of 2025 will be more than enough to keep our enquiring minds busy.

Keeps it tidy I guess. Especially for those of an OCD persuasion. I didn't go out of my way to quite the same extent but when the SP dropped back below 0.12 recently and I was triggered to buy one final block of shares I did make sure that I ended up with a number divisible by 20 that would also leave me holding a number of shares that had several zeros on the end after consolidation.

Lots of buys today. Not sure if there is a specific reason or if it's just catching up from recent trading sessions

People last week saying news was imminent were spot on. These results look like good news to me, hopefully there's somebody out there with a penchant for geology who can throw more light on what this RNS might mean regarding the progression of the project.

Anyway, I'm pleased for all of those who have been patiently waiting for an update.

If you're using the HL app you won't find anything on there but if you login via the on line website you should see it if you click on shareholder meetings

20:1 consolidation. So for every 20 existing shares you hold you will receive one back worth approximately 20x the value so SP of 20p would give a new SP of £4 quid 25p £5 quid etc

That would be £6 quid a pop in 3 months time then Cashier...Yep, I'd happily settle for that 😃

High market volatility will almost certainly be the rule rather than the exception for the remainder of 2025.

As a long term investor as opposed to a trader I'll just treat it like turbulence on a long haul flight, truth is this volatility will likely be one of the many factors that will push the gold price up in the months ahead and the short-lived dips in gold mining stocks will be offset by their bouncebackabilty.

The chart orientated investors amongst us will have a right old time trying to make sense of it all and who knows what other economic and geopolitical curve balls are lurking around the corner but overall a well managed gold mining stock is pretty as close as you'll get to being in a lifeboat in these choppy and uncharted waters, alternatively, as the old saying goes, "A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor"....Take your pick!

Great news Jiffy. I really enjoy watching all of these guys crossing their break even line as the share price soars like an eagle.

Those that bought in at the 18-20p range won't be far behind you either.

Imagine the delight when the SP crashes through the 38p (equivalent after consolidation) barrier and all those who chose not to sell at that price 4 and a half years ago will be able to consign that to the history books. I believe that will happen during this calendar year. Earlier this month I predicted 20p before end of April and with 6 trading sessions left that's now looking a real possibility, it's not of huge importance in itself as GGP is my largest holding and I'm here for at least the next 5 years, not selling a single share before then but these small milestones along the road are worth acknowledging as for me it keeps the journey and the profit involved real.

Pleased with RNS too this morning, shows what GGP team is all about and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens for the rest of this reduced length week of trading.

Anyway, as you say we've had a good run of late but I do concur that psychologically hitting 15p would be a fitting way to sign off for Easter, I'm going to sit on the fence and say there's a 50/50 chance of that happening today.

I'm signing off now for a break to the seaside in sunny Devon so I'll catch up on here on Tuesday when market is back up and running.

I first invested in OMI some weeks back at around 9p so it's increased around 30% already which I'm obviously quite pleased with but weirdly I'm not sure if I want good news announcement from the company just yet (hear me out!)

I intend to increase my holding here shortly but the capital to fund that won't be available to me until early next month so any good news out of the company before then could potentially reduce the number of shares I am able to add to my existing holding but I guess that's all in the lap of the gods !

Can anyone shed any light on the likelihood (or otherwise) of any significant news flow coming out within the next few weeks ? Not that I can change anything but for obvious reasons it's something that currently crosses my mind on a daily basis !
