Omicron is already here ,abandoning PCR tests at the border was never a good idea as you have no chance to catch the new mutations before they spread .
Seems this was sequenced in 2 days so the world has nearly got its act together but that has not stopped it spreading to numerous countries.
As I have always said testing could be with us forever as this one variant is nearly a new version of COVID .

We are well diversified here and stand by my view that in the long term this is a £3 share with the chance of the company being split 2-3 ways .
The diagnostic and NFV sides of the business already cry out to be separate companies on valuation.
Time will tell.

You would think that on a day which shows just how important testing is going to be probably forever that we would move a bit as Novacyt coming up as the biggest riser.
As I have always said we do not seem to be getting ascribed value on our testing capabilities.

Not sure I can remember having to wait a whole year for a dividend to be announced.
The anticipation is mounting!!!!

The contracts are starting to pile up.

Love this company they have a lot of very innovative solutions in different areas insect protein included which over time should add great value here.

Could be these are the contracts the market has been waiting for before we start another SP leg up.
The company has always said these could worth tens of millions once the technology started to be rolled out.

This share has been weaker since Vaccine day which supposed that the vaccine was going to be a wonder cure all.
We all know that this is not the case and the vaccinated can still get the virus and transmit it.
Hence testing is here to stay as that is the only way to determine what is going on.
Hopefully the market will catch on to the permanent added value here.

Another good informative write up from ST .
My only slight gripe is that it has taken a long time for the dividend to turn up.

Not much was has been stated by ST or the company as to what will be the on going income from the Covid tests .
As it looks like Covid will be around for a long time if not forever the market at some point will ascribe that income as permanent rather than temporary.
The vaccines are not the wonder cure all and only testing will allow those that need to know what is going on .
The upcoming report and dividend announcement should underpin this share nicely.

The World is nowhere near getting everyone vaccinated ,2023 at the very earliest and that is only if the vaccinations remain capable of dealing with the mutations.
Testing is here for a long time yet .
The only way to know what is going on is to test.

Seem to be holding value here above 90p and with the new test kits shipping and the new telco contract looks like a good time to add more .
Still BATM is up 125 % on a year to year basis looks like we are holding value but not having any momentum.
Must be imminent news on dividend?

Don’t worry won’t be selling anytime soon it’s almost as if we need some bad news to make the share go up .!!!!!
We have momentum on news announcements and what is most of note is the new areas that have been announced Insect protein /tb tests makes you wonder what else they are up to .
Shipping the new PCR tests this month so that’s more income to add .

Once again a positive RNS and the price rises 4-5% only to finish the day down who would have thought that ?!!!!!!
