At the moment the testing of those with the vaccine shot and those without is the only way to know if it is working.
The general dishonesty of people means testing is here all next year.
As I am fond of saying there are so many aspects of this company any of which literally could be a company maker.
I still feel that there will be at least two companies floated off from BATM creating value for all of us.
Have read the ST update today and the prem results and looks to be a share for next year looking forward rather than back .
Long overdue a big update possibly before the AGM on Thursday.
COVID testing is here to stay for the future as no one seems able to say if the vaccine stops the spread of the virus.
This is what happens when you have not done the years of research as normally required .
I see at least another 18 months of COVID-19 disruption until they get the other more easily transportable vaccines distributed .
5G/testing/bio -waste/ insect protein/cybercrime there is a lot going on with this company and I maintain the view that we nowhere done with the SP arise on this share.
Not impressed at all , i am sure the reason most people are invested here is the supposed tier 1 quality of the loan book.
Perhaps the company should get tough and start repossession on the £80000 horse boxes and camper vans they lend money on or a least threaten it .
No dividend, might add when the fog clears but otherwise put on my deadwood list.
Be interesting to see what Simon Thompson makes of this ???
Be nice if BPC did make a strike as will transform the Bahamian economy also get some money back from the dud investments that were LGO /CERP that have been rolled into BPC.
Very interesting last paragraph.
This protein from insects is another area I have been looking at but there are few opportunities to get directly involved except have become involved by default by being invested here.
Must be due news soon surely !!!
Snowing in Suffolk Buh.
I look at these the same as my Hydrogen -waste recycling shares (Itm,phe eqt) in that they are only just at the beginning of the story .
It has taken a pandemic to kick the government’s around the world up the proverbial to now look at hydrogen, wind ,solar etc as the new normal ,nobody in the main stream media was talking about hydrogen as being a serious contender in the renewables space and now look at it .
Graphene will get to an inflexion point the same as hydrogen which may take a few more years but in the mean time I will be adding to this and VRS .
If Graphene is the wonder material we are lead to believe it is not only will it be a game changer for so many industrial applications but a good place to invest in now .
The great thing about hydrogen refuelling pumps is that it is not a technological change for the general public and nobody should underestimate people’s desire to move forward but be the same.
The same but different.
Funny enough I got a good friend who every time he bought a share the rest of us already owned it crashes.
Keep my ideas to myself now.
There are only 25.87m shares in free float won’t take much to fire this up.
Well it’s like this I have owned many companies over the years who have never made a profit but have a fantastic valuation ITM being a case in point.
Market perception of how or when a company will make a profit is a small part of the valuation something like owning unique patents adds a value Or being a first mover in a new and upcoming technology that is hard for the competition to replicate adds a value as do many other aspects.
A huge amount of companies have a fantastic turnover but make a very small profit ,Sainsburys for example whose valuation is underlined by the land they sit on .
All aboard ,they have messed around for years and could have raised enough money when the share price was between 4-11p with very little share issuance to move this on .
Face it that they are on the wrong side of the environmental argument and things and times have moved on before they have got their XXXX together.
No doubt more shares to be issued soon ,I wrote this off a long time ago possibly never get my money back but that’s the way it goes .
If I get anywhere near breakeven I will offload you can only watch car crash TV for so long before you have to turn it off.
The Gatwick gusher was a nice dream which has turned into Nightmare on Every street that someone has bought shares in this.
Profit has very little to do with the share price or ITM/TESLA /Google etc would not be at the valuation they are .
What determines the SP is a whole host of variables of which market perception of the company and its ability to deliver on its stated goals is a major part.
Apparently there are at least 6 events a year that could lead to a pandemic so not long as you say until the next one.
We have had Zika /SARS 1/ MERS several new flu viruses all in the last few years and not to forget the true horror that is EBOLA ,if this was EBLOA that would have finished the planet!!
The only reason this ever goes up is because they are about to issue another super sized tanker load of shares!!!
You seem top heavy in Hydrogen I hold VRS/DCTA for the work they are doing in the Graphene/battery power space as a diversified portfolio should.
Also read about competition in the Hydrogen space from ammonia I believe,if you are heavy in one industry you need to keep ahead of competing technologies overtaking you.
Today’s DCTA RNS on a more powerful cheaper lithium sulphur battery being one of those technological breakthroughs you need to keep ahead of.
Hold EQT which is similar to PHE but different waste to gas feedstock.
Smithy probably probably placed that order to spook the market !!!
