A GKP RNS as you say is never clear, in fact many times it almost seems intentional to help trash the show price some more. I'd imagine he knows it's a busted flush and after doing the dowry work of consolidation and getting his free hand out for the said destruction he is off into the distance with his bag of swag. If only us long term holders could be so lucky.

Got his free shares and off into the hills do these people have no shame ? Positive for me as I struggle to see how he has done anything to add any value since his arrival.

Any excuse is used to drop it down, I've neither lost or gained any shares on the drop but are tempted to add at these levels, will see where we are next week I think. Crazy really as were in the best shape ever and probably going to get some decent news regarding the production increases with the work over rigs.

Wouldn't a higher share price benefit us when we are sold as I cant see it being x 10 our current price?

I would have preferred a share buy back over the dividend as they've hardly given us any confidence back or a lift in the share price ....in fact its worse now than before It was announced. On the dividend front is anyone else reinvesting it back into gkp or taking it off the table ?

And as always we dont bounce back like others genl up 4% were what now 1% ? Share price is so detached from asset value what will ever make it recover?

Yes this drop isnt unique to us however were so undervalued anyway the share price is ridiculously low. Something stinks with this company and has gotten worse under JF.

Our time will come... Anyone with hindsight would make a fortune on these constant drops....always over cooked and short lived till another piece of news is used to smash it back down again. Like most its frustrating not profiting or adding to your holdings on it however I'm after much more than a 10% swing and hopefully those doing it will get caught out when were eventually sold.

We always get hit harder than other stocks and then never recover the same either. I've not lost any shares today but its back in my buying range so will tuck a few more away till its sold.

It's an interesting response...I was mulling over selling up and moving over to KAZ which dropped at 1 point to a silly price around 45p / 50p if I recall and wish I'd folowed my gut instincts. Too late now so will just sit here till someone turns the lights off.

JF has hidden behind this since he joined yet what ground breaking news has he delivered. He has no skin in the game, gets a huge pay packet each month and awards himself farcical share options whilst destroying all LTH shareholders value. I know my thoughts on him and his like , I used to think Kozel was bad but he is an angel compared to this guy.

Let me clarify I wasn't stating this fall was due to going ex dividend. Normally a stock on dividend day clearance drops as people who got in for It usually get out so lots of sells.

Ex dividend usually causes another drop doesnt it ? Canr believe we are back here again

The movement of this share never ceases to amaze me. At a time when were in our best shape ever and gearing up for another charge passed £3.00 (3p) we again find ourselves getting kicked down on next to no volume. Farcical how no value at all is seen here yet someone has been bashing it for 10 years now so nope it just doesnt add up. It's getting low enough for me to add a few more into the pot so at least I will take a few more off the table.

The while company is a complete farce and the awarding of these shares whilst destroying all current investor value is nothing short of a disgrace yet what can we do I'm stuck here till its sold or goes bankrupt.

Gave up following the sorry tale of both companys....bunch of fraudsters and a harsh lesson for me. I accepted afren as a huge gamble but not excite that really was a mess up of a monumental scale.

Before cockeye around 900k of shares. Sold 600k worth in batches around 77p if I remember rightly and split that pot between Afren and Xcite so lost as much as i would if I'd left them here. The only good thing I did do was sell my mxp holding on a spike and got out of that before it went into administration.

Trough is open for all again by the looks of it. I almost had 1 million shares at my peak all paid for unlike these handouts been given out today.
