Depends how creative you are with the figures , I know we spent huge amounts of money drilling other fields and recovered zero from them being forced to hand them back as we couldn't cover the PSC due to guess what ...not being paid.

They did the same to us and we wouldn't have been in the trouble we were if we had been paid....a huge chunk of what we were owed (£600m) or more just vanished and has never been accounted for.

It will bounce as we have a gap from last nights close...and gaps must be filled if you listen to the nah sayers which means it will go back up.

I remember buying 40k worth in 2 20k chunks £4.05 and 3.95 ...almost as bad as my 60k of XEL at 35p....i had money those days lol.

Harsh lesson and back on the mortgage ladder now.

In simple terms if the price opens differently from the previous days course then it creates a price gap which generally in time get filled especially if it isn't company changing news and nust8geberal market news hence a lot will sell on a morning gap up spike and rebuy when it drops back.

Oil has hardly moved and is now back above $40 after the UK close as has been the pattern over the last month , GAP up again tomorrow and the sellers chasing the penny gains will 1 day miss out on the next hike North trying to rebuy lower.

Next to nothing these days now due to the restructure , I've not sold any but was hit hard when it happened.

Its volatile now thats for sure.. always amazes me how quick they can drop the price and recovery takes so much longer.

Out above 40 back in at 36 would have been a nice trade.

What has become the daily slide as the US comes back online and drops us....and oil price , recovers over night GAP up in the morning rinse and repeat.

I've not seen a profit in many years , 80% loss for now at a quick glance with a £5 break even target.

I've made more in Tullow in 3 months then anything in GKP over the last 10 years , pretty much sums this mess up.

Think a lot of us have been hit , MXP , XEL and Afren cleared me out....

Sill have the misery of GKP which I really do wish had gone the same way as the others...between them all 7 figure losses..so the green shoots here are a welcome change.
