Secure message reply from II re holding warrants in ISA :
No they can't. We're issuing an updated Corporate Action notice advising this today. If you receive warrants for an ISA account we'll move them into a linked Trading account on your behalf if you have one, and if you don't have a Linked Trading account we'll set one up for you and move the warrants into that account,
My brother has a Barclays Smart Investor ISA & his account shows his open offer entitlement but no " action button ". He phoned & was told the account would be updated in a day or two. He also raised the issue of holding warrants within an ISA - no definite reply at this stage.
I myself am with II & as yet nothing. I will share with the board any developments with these 2 brokers.
Do nowt till you get the offer message - you should have days to get your funds in place, from my experience of the recent BOR open offer.
I think the warrants are a good idea to get people to hold their shares longer term.
Hi EG - got similar ISA problem ( with II ), but I reckon ( after seeing how many shares I'm offered ) I would sell sufficient Rkh shares to fund the new 7p shares. Hargreaves Lansdown should give you a definite answer. All the Best.
