Why? He couldn't say stuff in an interview which went beyond an RNS.

If CEG do pick up both the new Uruguay & Trinidad licences, will this £10m outfit have the management and financial resources to progress them both at the same time? Or might that double success make a financing more likely?

As I understood it, an RNS was "due" last month!

Slightly interesting that the price has held, despite sells predominating, rather than dipping on no news, as usual. The wide spread may have helped. I read no significance into this whatever.

Igas look rudderless. They are taking a long time to find a new permanent CEO, and in the meantime there's no clear sense of direction. The shares slumped after fracking went off the menu. Malcy just looks at them puzzled.

Spending money on drilling wells is technically investment, I suppose, but to describe a proposed drilling programme as "a full update of ... investment plans" would feel bizarre to me, molatovkid. We'll see soon enough.

darientaylor: You make an unfavourable guess with no evidence. So here's another completely unsubtantiated guess for you. Suppose RSOC had an other interested party? I don't know. But nor do you. And, as someone remarked, this avoids possible disputes and delays. So I'm happy. If you're not, sell.

I read this that it's peanuts in comparison to their regular remuneration.

I don't know about 'somebody knowing something'. What about Pershing or other outsiders looking to build a stake? Or even the bod buying more? (Unlikely that, I know.)

On the contrary, I think they'll decide they're safe.

4 That £4m they're proposing to distribute, somehow, at some point in the future, is our money. Is this their big deal? Oh no, they have a plan. So that's all right then.

If you want £4k, sell a few shares. Easy peasy. Dividends aren't magic money.
