Have either of you two dreamt about each other yet or this board. I mean for both of you, it must be in your few thoughts of the day about you can reply back or have a dig at each other.

Why not just agree that everyone on this board has been right and wrong all be it varying degrees on the sp movement.

Ok, so interests rates have been rock bottom since 2009 or at least the decent to rock bottom rates started then. Yes high interest rates will affect consumers with a mortgage. So any company that relies on consumer spending in theory will be effected.

I tend to trade. My long term holds are short trade terms that were miss timed.

It would give credibility if someone said, just bought in at 52p etc and then said sold at whatever.

This is comedy gold!! Anyone who followed this board during Covid lockdown when PP1 predicted this was going to be a 100X no matter what will know what I am talking about. It is exactly what you used to do PP1, you was against anyone who didnt agree that BOO would be £300 a share. To quote you "Think about that one" When this was £4.20 or whatever a share you dismissed anything that might bring it back. And now you are pretending to be a stock extradonaire even though I cant think of anyone who has called a stock prediction so wrong in my 22 years of trading. Including myself!!

PP1 if you have got the direction on this wrong half as much as you did last time I am in for a big pay day. Going by your posts your're inexperinced at life let alone the stock market.

Sadly the same thing that is affecting many shares. Or a least the ones in my portfolio including,

Cost of fuel - Which is coming down.
Material costs - Which are settling in some cases and dropping in others.
Inflation which is hitting the consumer - which is predicted to fall sharply from the summer.
The war - Which we all hope to end soon, even putin.

Once the above or at least some of them play out more positively most of us on the board expect it to rise. I have no idea why those that dont expect it to rise are here.

My lingering concern is levels of returns.

For the record I have bought plenty below a £1 and my average is 95p which I am not ashamed or embarressed to admit. Some I bought at 36p I have traded.

Id rather be honest than be one of these people who after the event say "Yeah I got in and out today and made a quick 8%, when all along they have been preaching the opposite to their claims.

I never thought it would go sub £1 but my decision to buy above was mine. Never influenced by opinion on here. That way I make my own mistakes and potentially learn from my own mistakes.

Im glad I did the opposite of those calling 25p not so long ago.

That is my point. It's irrevelant what seismic event happened to prevent BOO getting to £300 a share. SOMETHING WOULD!!

That is why you cant say blindly to hold for 20 years as it will be worth £300. As something will shift and indeed many thing did happen to prevent it getting to £5 a share within a year of your blind and tone deaf ramping.

scb - shows how little you know. Global fashion market is worth 1.7 trillion US dollars. Boohoo could have made it to 100 bagger. Unfortunately, Shein has stolen this from Boohoo.

The wider point is you kept ramping that boo would be a X100 bagger from £3 plus, failing to see that no one can predict what can happen to the world and the market in the space of 20 years that might get in the way of boo being £300 a share. You was unable to see the very basic reality that boo might face competition.

PP1 is only really good at making predictions based on the present. It’s why when this was over £4 he/she couldn’t see why it wouldn’t keep rising.

PP1 can’t see that inflation is likely to drop and put more money in people’s pockets?

This current banking crisis if it is one could be the bad news we need for the Fed and BOE to not overdo it with interest rate rises etc

The UK is looking to escape a recession, DC centre in USA this year and SP yet to price all this in yet.
