I'm no chartist and know little about it, but is that a golden cross with the shareprice coming through the 200MA?
And still climbing. Tomorrow will be one of those days where I check gold prices when I wake up. So sad.
$1932.60 from this direction
Back up to 1925 at the moment.
The skew to those numbers will be if the gold that was stockpiled ended up selling at a below average price in early Q4 or above average in late Q4.
From Centamin's results today -
" Annual revenue of US$787 million: Q4 revenue of US$188 million, generated from gold sales of 108,441 oz at an average realised gold price of US$1,735/oz sold; FY revenue of US$787 million, generated from gold sales of 438,638 oz at an average realised gold price of US$1,794/oz sold"
So Centamin achieved an average gold sales price of $1794/oz over the year. We should expect POLY to come in with a similar range one would think. POLY's AISC is a little better than CEY's and I'd expect to see something like $3bn revenue and $750-850m profit ahead of tax etc
Just seeing that prediction of £10-15. It's worth bearing in mind that the most EVR shares have ever been valued at is £7. That's with RASP part of the group and all elements trading normally. I think it would be extremely optimisitic to think this will come back at anything over £6 in the short/medium term. We don't yet have clarity on what will happen with the NA assets, whether the West will deal with EVR after the war, etc, etc. So many unknowns and none of them really good.
I worked this out a while ago to about £3-4 per share if it were trading, but it was several months ago and I don't have the calculations to hand. To be honest we haven't had enough recent information to make a judgement call on how the company is doing, whether it's profitable, anything really. All we can do as shareholders is wait for Russia to stop invading countries and starting wars and hope EVR is still viable at afterwards. Fingers crossed.
"My Fidelity account is showing 340.1 as the SP but if I put a dummy sell in it's showing as 347."
Look at the picture I posted and you can see why that's the SP being shown. It doesn't make it 'real'. :-)

That's the situation for Rio Tinto. The spread is 0.049% and that would be a 'normal' situation for a FTSE100 company
So in the situation shown in that picture, you have a cheeky low buy offer in for 184 shares at 340.1. It;s been sat there since 9:19 this morning and isn't being filled. However, that becomes one side of the midprice. on the other side you have an offer to sell 2500 shares at 353. So the midprice shows as between those two numbers and is artificially low in terms of the actual trades going through. The spread is 3.722% which is actually low for this share today.
The spread is just between a stated offer to buy and a stated offer to sell. It's not necessarily the pricing you'd get in either case. The mid price is just the middle between the two offered values.

You can see it there, though I might find a more liquid share as a demonstration
So a quick look at this -
Sharepad show Blackrock as holding 9.9% https://i.postimg.cc/pXp4S14L/Poly9DD.jpg
Morningstar show a load of funds holding POLY https://www.morningstar.com/stocks/xlon/poly/ownership
And IIs holding POLY on the Institutions tab in Morningstar
Hope that helps for those asking after II holdings and whatnot

Looking forward to more rollercoaster action tomorrow
That's over quarter of the traded shares today in POLY. I'm surprised that many were even scraped together at that price. Good work by whichever broker organised that one.
