I strongly suspect Trafigura buying/taking out the old hedge etc is what will weight the level of discount to likely be applied, and I doubt they will give it up easily.

And yes it is important, since it is HIGHLY likely that this yet to be finalised finance deal with new dynamic (hedge) for all gas from SLBY likely to be at a notable discount to the full price, then it makes a big difference on monthly rev's going forward.

The finance deal is not completed as yet & we don't know the fine print details or discounted level that will be applied to the dynamic (hedge) pricing, the debts still exist, the flows are still underwhelming and the gas prices are in the mid 70's, as it stands EVEN with the debt consolidation (because the debt will actually be a chunk more than it stands at today) it will still need to be fully serviced at combined flow lower prices, and at the current pricing it would not surprise me to see spring/summer prices down to the very low 50's

Funny that Maddog, I been about this game a LONG time too ! and seen a LOT come and go, mostly go because they simply get suckered in and have no exit strategy, as said, it is easy to click buy, but the art is in knowing WHEN to sell, be it a gain or a loss.... too many don't they simply keep moving them from top drawer to middle drawer, to lower middle drawer, to lower lower middle drawer, and so on,,,

It is all well and good if you bought near bottom, but you also failed to note that they were at 2p just a month ago, so yes they may well have risen off their cliff fall, and that is great for new punters, but for existing punters it is still 40% down on early Dec 2023 prices.

Same with UKOG, all well and good for punters if it moves a bit at this level, but does nowt for ermmmm LTH's that might have averages in the pennies !!!

So if you are going to make such posts, make sure it has balance and not just some rampathon comment !! REALITY is often far different for most.

It is one thing working a pathway to get rid of the main man, but the question is as always, what/WHO replaces him ?

Imagine it being someone just as slimy like Leni " laughing" Gas, or just another Sando.

Also for someone else to take the reins of this outfit, they would be entering in to a massive clean up campaign of ALL things UKOG, a mass consolidation of the shares in issue, it would also likely need a notable placing for new working capital to both do the clean up and for a new working pathway on anything that can be deemed worthwhile developing and being able to generate some worthy upside.

There would be a long line of "same as" types that would take it on, only to repeat the same sheite and fill their own boots, and only a small handful that actually would take it on to do the right thing !!
