I don't think Brockham is enough of a potential driver for anything, better than it doing nothing, but likely a lot of effort & cash for a very small reward. NOW if they said Balcombe, instead of Brockham, then I might have felt a tinsy little spark of hmmmmmmmmmm,, ner mind, one day rodders.

I am not convinced that PRD will use the rig for MOU 5 until they have at least got the testing on the other well/s sorted out via sandjet or whatever they feel will resolve their issues. seems a bit too over exposed if they go on to drill a 3rd well without getting to grips with 3 & 4 first. Also I would expect Star Valley would simply shift another rig in if they deemed it necessary.

Yes Stoneyloon, I didn't say they stopped, simply that it is usually more reined in, which means it is likely preparations on site and with the rig are ongoing but I would expect the actual spud to be more likely at the end of Ramadan, which shows the company respecting the holy month and the culture which usually pays dividends once they are back to full swing.

I wouldn't be getting too excited, 28m traded, value is below £20k for the whole day. I doubt it would have been possible to offload any worthwhile chunk into that !! but then when a stock is confettied to near death and the company assets are more akin to a liability then even if they announced they were upgrading from rich tea to Hobnobs is likely enough to give some hope on here.

Note, it is Ramadan over there, and that does not end until 9th April, though the industry does not stop for this, it does generally go into minimal physical work mode, likely they may well be setting up on site, but also it may be that actual start of drill/spud is not until after this has ended.

Just my take on it, as spent 20 years over that neck of the woods in the industry.
