not sure could be at any point big buy today though
Not invested but was on my watchlist probably gonna get bought by mike ashley at a significant discount unfortunately
2 questions though
Why on earth did it let its receivables grow so big?
Why wasn't it trying to chase down payments?
Overreaction from the market but thats the aim after all
Could they potentially sell the power plant?
Get 90-100m and pour it in to renewables project
Surely they could find a buyer
No better way of telling the market that there a future energy company
Can they not ask for more?
Looks like a trading update will be released on Friday or Monday looking at past history
Not sure it will be good but it will give a clearer perspective on how bad the increase in coal price hurt the revenue streams and generation
OPG still have enough liquidity to pay off all debt by 2024 so still hopeful
I'm not sure dividends will happen though unless the price of coal tanks
Also I will probably buy more If it goes down more as it remains cheap on all future multiples
Yea looks that way mate
Weird one anyway must be thinking it's cheaper to mine it themselves rather than import it
Anyway of finding financial statements? or when they will be released?
Looks exciting on face value
Looks like there trying to acquire a coal mine
https://www.psuconnect.in/news/Ministry-of-Coal-receives-53-Bids-for-20-Coal-Mines/30549/
Seems like the big holders are selling out and running unsure why? looks solid if china bounces back
Looks undervalued tbf and with HS2 it has a lot of potential
Happy new year everyone
Not the best news with Indonesia having to ban coal exports to make sure they can keep the lights on
Kinda expected when the whole of China was gobbling all of the cheap coal up
Wouldn't be surprised if OPG just uses Australian and domestic sources from now on
Hopefully the market update at the end of the month gives a clearer picture
Jesus 3 million quid sold must of found a buyer
Was always too fat as Warren Buffet would say wise move great management
Yea mate
I trust the management but buybacks are a must in my opinion to keep the hope
They have been storing the free cash flow in mutual funds so they have cash available but they also have to pay back 20m by June 2023 I think
Selling that coal for 4 million seems like a good deal
He said something about hydrogen which seems intriguing
I keep buying more when there is enough liquidity in the market
9 month update due in February
As a value investor I probably got into early but it is what it is with current cash flows it remains cheap

Here is link to investor meet
Some one did and hated it cos 100k shares have been sold
Did anyone listen into the investor meet?
Forgot it was on
I have a feeling you're the twenty trader
8% drop due to free cash flow being negative
But the it still look cheap
Might buy in after deeper dive into the report
