The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Annoying in a good way was hoping it would drop to 5p
Interest is paid off for 2022 and debts should be fully repaid by 2024
Predicting £10 million profit for year end march 22
Just insanity that it's this low will be a cash cow by 2025 then the renewable projects should take off
DOCS Free cash flow generation is ridiculous I still don't understand the multiples there valued at there a pretty mature company with 18% sales growth for 2023 their predicting if they announce buybacks then the share price will only go higher
Well not sure why the market was treating it so badly?
Where is your entry point? Looking really cheap now in my opinion
Might be getting out of coal altogether now
Could be massive if they pick the right Renewable projects
They spoke about green hydrogen. Will be an interesting 2022 if coal stays high
I dont believe selling the power plant altogether is out of the question
Would like to see a end of year update next month or may
Think a lot of shares are held by market makers
Was wondering why Gateley dropped I see now
Both seem overvalued but maybe worth a look now with the drop
The lack of cash is a worry for kgh
No clue why it was trading that high before the trading update anyway multiples were massive
Crazy share price when you look at ipo level
If it goes to 180p I think that creates a margin of safety which im comfy with
Not a big fan of these massive share dumps though they could get annoying haha
Probably people panicking due to them being next door neighbours to Russia
Only 10% of sales are foriegn question is how much is russia? I suppose a majority
Looks good this company though and a cash cow
It would be dumb if they accepted 15p undervalues the company
Just wait it out gonna be tough but the state will raise tariffs if all power plants start to complain
I still think this will get bought
41p is book so may be sold for 30p
But will Gupta sell as he holds all the cards
and yes coal prices are a problem
I've just never understood why you cant get into long-term contracts? for example when coal was at $30
I think it's to do with accounting and fair value
Anything from £12 million to 20 million im happy with allows for capital to be deployed for paying back debt and capex
That companies debt is astonishingly high so they need capital or they have to issue shares
They bought then years ago using debt but the tarriffs weren't high enough so selling them as part of the delevaging process
Cos nothing tbf now debt is fully paid off and Worth 20m according to assets on balance sheet
However they have been trying to sell it for the past 2 years but they feel bid are severely undervaluing the asset
Crazy how a redundant asset that there selling worth more half the market cap
Not sure what to make of that but it looks like the same as last year except revenue is up
Just hope we're though the worst of the coal prices
A lot of debt to be paid off later this year and next
Could potentially have a net cash position by 2024 but need coal prices down or india to allow a tarriff boost
Also still no update about the selling the solar park which are worth 20m which will boost cash significantly
Looks like fair value is 80p looking at past growth
Looks significantly undervalued if they can grow their margins plenty cash no debt
Was working out how much I would pay for this company cos using a screener it looks amazing however with the debt burden it looks like fair value at the current price
Some thing else which amazing is the revenue growth cos in the UK I rarely see anyone where doc martens maybe I don't go to enough festivals or looking at enough people
Definitely a buy mate but more of a LTH
Kinda hoping to get in a bit lower for margin of safety reasons
Long term investment could grow at rapid rates
The CEO wants the company to be a French netflix some level of ambition
Just hoping it doesn't try and grow too quickly by using excessive debt to acquire companies
Its a fad stock that lost 4 million last 6 months and raising capital and diluting shareholders
Takeover seeks like a pipe dream unless another covid happens
