It is a pointless battle of wills second guessing - some months ago I had suggested when Rex Tillerson was put out of a job he may regain his interest in the Bahamas - but we could each identify suitors only for it to be someone else.

Today sees the trades all pretty much close to one another with a range between .034 to .036 and volume an hour in seems to be quite steady. No big buys/sells to speak of, however, there are few more hours to go.

Initial 3 months is up next month and hopefully we will get the news we all desire.

Oilbell - just to clarify - the staff are taking shares in lieu of salary BUT they only get them IF/WHEN a deal is made - no shares have been issued in lieu of salary as yet, so none to sell other than they ones they already held.

The information given in some previous RNS have turned out to be blatant lies such a 'copper plant competed', whilst others have been quite misleading especially when it comes down to dates and deadlines. That is the sort of thing I have an interest in. Lies/deceit. I of course also enjoy good news.

I do not gloat at other people's losses or mistakes - that I leave for the thrushes that frequent this once tranquil place.

bandit1 - there have been numerous posters on this and others who genuinely have had conversations with CEOs. I spoke with our beloved MA on a couple of occasions and I know folk who socialised with him post AGM on a number of occasions. Apparently the CEO at SOU is an amiable chap.

Usually protocol would be that certain parts of conversations would not be embargoed, though if certain elements were repeated on a public board then that would usually preclude and further chit chat in the future.

I recall initial conversations at BMR HQ when (the rarely mentioned these days) BMR Watch was set up and meetings were held between AB and a couple of shareholders who had taken the views of shareholders to the board. I recall a recent attempt to rally the troops around for another round of talks however, that appeared to have been riducled - Who knows if any further meetings with the board would have left us in the current pickle.

Water under the bridge of course - however, conversations do take place on a regular basis throughout AIM and other security CEO's.

For clarity - LC states the CONSTRUCTION of the Zinc circuit is progressing. Our initial focus is on the completion of the zinc recovery circuit while our research and development teams conclude the testing of the lead and vanadium circuit design parameters.

The FULL circuit - (Zinc, Lead and Vanadium) I expect the team to conclude the full circuit design and project financial parameters targeting the three metals, zinc, lead and vanadium by the end of August 2018. Jubilee and BMR Group PLC have agreed to extend the contractual period to conclude the circuit design and project budget to align with this target date.

So it is possible that we will be producing Zinc before August - doubtful but possible.

Of course the RNS from AB appears to fly in the face of positivity from LC and it may be that AB has been holding back a little from LC and the team. I would therefore expect AB to next appear in public with much less hair and a singed backside.

Time will tell. Ladies and gents we are now close to learn our fate, good or bad I would like to say the past decade has been interesting - I wonder how many of us it would take to complete the building process, hire another JCB and a mobile crusher.

So the call recently reported here was apparently quite upbeat and yet AB has somehow managed to pull a few pairs of pants down.

On the other side, LC stated in his RNS that "Jubilee and BMR agreed to extend the contractual period to conclude the initial design, work program and budget for the construction of the combined Kabwe processing plant as stipulated under the Shareholders Agreement entered into between Jubilee, Kabwe Operations Limited and BMR Group PLC to 31 August 2018."

Vig - in the absence of any real news about the future of BMR and the constant stream of delay messages, perhaps you could indulge the ramblings of the (potentially) insane folk who filled their baskets with fool's gold.

In reality, I do hope we can remain a going concern. We have that short delay of next month (8-9 weeks) to conclude the design and financial parameters of the project. IT IS NOT a long time relative to the history of BMR.

Let us not forget, we do have (as per RNS) a huge amount of resources left on the surface on Kabwe. The value in those surface dumps is eyewatering but there is of course a modicum of doubt, knowing this project has had so many false dawns over the past 10 years.

sausage - I think I am just becoming delirious - I find myself having an occasional solo rant then becoming very excited at some of the prospects we might have had.

It has been a very long and painful journey, though there are some good eggs on here which I am sure has helped the long term sanity of some.

I put far too many eggs into this specific basket so I must keep some home. I seem to have developed a masochistic tendency though I have now ran out of people willing to kick me in the nads, so I am looking for a manual mangle to do that job.

In the meantime I would say that at least August is only next month so not that long to wait.

The sun is shining outside which would be a blessing if not for my Scottish skin so perhaps I could add to the inventory of tools of distraction away from BMR. (tic)

As it happens it would appear I am more wealthy now as my hair is becoming more silver as the weeks, months and years pass.

Of course AB has not given detail about content - he couldn't - so any RNS issued may not be the one we really want.

AB does remind me of MA when it comes to revealing teasers. He is also good at appeasement.

Let's not build our hopes up too much for something useful this week, though anything more than -

"as per the RNS dated ????? due to unforeseen circumstances......a further RNS will be issued...………."

Will be like a breath of fresh air.

Parpaing - the RNS means purely that they have sent hard copies out to those that requested them.

There is no news today about the EA and the farm in - but we are not expecting it for weeks.

Whilst perhaps in your eyes the RNS was negative - I am sure to the shareholders it was aimed may find it positive.

The news will come good or bad when it is ready - the price will go up or down accordingly - I do not get why so many people are becoming so impatient all of a sudden.

As I mentioned the other day our first 3 months exclusivity will not end until beginning of August so still weeks of twitching to be had in between times.

Hi Eric - whilst it won't be cheap it is a lot cheaper than the Derby Street address where we were paying for all manner of companies to use it for free.

The office space will be used by several companies but as a limited company they need a registered office which is 35, Piccadilly. Staff there will field some calls, though the majority would be diverted to Alex's phone remotely. So whilst ringing the office/landline phone you may be speaking to Alex or someone else on their mobile or landline (whichever it is diverted to).

Makes sense to keep the running costs down.

It certainly keeps the office costs down. People can work very remotely these days so AB cut costs to a minimum by having such an office space.

RP - the directors are already taking their salaries in shares on farm out deal. They would not need to be buying in at these prices as their allotted shares are in their millions already.

Without trying to be a wet blanket we need to take into consideration the added dilution when pulling figures from thin air.

What BPC have, are a potential massive couple of oil fields - that potential needs to become proven for the big money to come.

Timescales are important here too. We were notified of potentially 6 months as a maximum period allowed for exclusivity for the major who is currently poring over the data etc, - that 6 month commenced around the time the RNS was issued - 3rd May 2018. That means the initial 3 month period will end first week in August 2018.

Latest the exclusivity will end in November so we all have to have a little bit of patience whilst things unfold.

That said - 3 months to 6 months - is merely a timescale - a deal could be imminent or it could take the full 6 months or not at all. Nothing is set in stone.

Forget the wild assumptions figures of dropping or rising to, it is merely wet finger in the wind stuff.

Was pleased to see the SP land in one of the blue squares post buy too.

The best comparison I can give would be DGO having gone from less than 10pps eventually having a buy back of shares at £8.00 ps.

They started to explore for oil at a site in Turkmenistan previously given up on by Shell. DGO was of course acquired by Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) who eventually bought everyone out.

Whilst the shares in issue at time of the buyout were much less than BPC currently have in issue, ENOC had been buying regularly on the open market which had reduced shares in issue.

I do see some similarities here BUT I am not suggesting any way out figures.
