Investec's latest target price is 1675p (made when the price had dropped to 1460p). That forecast was made with what they said were pretty conservative growth targets, as they are expecting a 'normalisation' in growth rates. But knowing FEVR, that could easily be surpassed if they properly break into the US dark-spirit mixing market! Time shall tell as always, imo we will see a correction once growth rates are more 'normal', but who knows where to
Not so sure its wise to assume that attending an event, which is essentially a party (from what I can see on their website), is synonymous with good news. I'd like to think they'd announce news to market , before leaking it at a private event at AllBarOne in London, perhaps I'm wrong, I hope I am.
You implied that Shukan could not have attended the AGM, by saying 'how the duck could you have attended', suggesting you didn't know there was one, not that we need to be wary of a company who is holding AGM without trading for a year. I'm not sure whether you're trying to make a semantic language argument at the moment but it seems to me that you're backpedalling. Also just as a side note, anyone who deems themselves to be of 'superior' intelligence and is willing to describe themselves in that manner is automatically a fool in my book. I think you'll be waiting a while for that support you refer to in your last comment.
Don't normally get involved in these kind of posts but couldn't resist..... You do realise that literally in your last post you said "The company was admitted to the official list on 09/11/2015 how the duck could you have attended an AGM already" and now your saying you are fully aware that there was an AGM. Unfortunately for you everyone on this board has the ability to read and you sir are making a fool of yourself, you can't change your story that quickly when it's all here in black & white LOL
I'm also encouraged by the announcement, I think a good round of full-year results could see this back over its IPO price and hopefully back over 200 where it belongs!
This company is dead in the water........at least we have a meaningless stake in an online slots business (LOL). They'd probably be better off taking the rest of the companies' funds and banging it all in the slots
Interims tomorrow, I imagine that they will be dazzling, in standard FEVR fashion. Wouldn't be surprised to see profit taking tomorrow though!
I would imagine its due to the fact that a large proportion of their revenue is generated from contracts within the public sector, particularly government. Talk of spending/ budget cuts in the event of a BREXIT may have the potential to affect KNOS's contracts. I imagine technology/ systems budgets for different government departments will be some of the first to be cut. There is also the potential that BREXIT will have a negative effect on the NHS, another source of a lot of KNOS's revenue. There of course may be another reason for the sensitivity but that's how I'd rationalise it.
Not doubting, but how do you know that? What do you think the news is about? Why over 1p? Doesn't seem like the market is too interested in this bottling plant yet, all RNSs seem to have a negative effect on SP.
Encouraging I think, changing their accounting year end date to match that of Lime's perhaps?? Sounds like the RTO may be going ahead as planned...thoughts?
Thought that was gonna be Adele lyrics for second there. Yeah I agree, very bright future for Kainos, well established company, secure long-term revenue stream and a growing market (to name but a few positives). Any idea why its fallen back over the past weeks? Profit taking perhaps??
Definitely profit taking
Couldn't agree more.....the company has had a fantastic year! Who would have thought that such a profitable company could be formed out of de-monopolising an industry as simple as the tonic industry. Schwepps and Britvic must be seriously scratching their heads. Just shows how a little innovation in the right place, at the right time can take you a very long way. I see this company as a potential take-over target for sure. Can't see that the drink industry's major players are going to just stand by while FEVR sweep up the tonics/mixers market. Every nice bar you walk into now is serving Fevertree tonics, taken the market by storm.
Sitting at just over a penny (1.75KES) after yesterdays trading , will be interesting to see how its getting on today when the results are published at 14:00!! Its been dropping in Kenya recently so maybe they are finally converging. Looks to me like news on the horizon as well!! Lets hope its a nice detailed update on the JV, think that coupled with the bottling plant could easily get it back over a penny.
Well that's a surprise lol Any ideas anyone? Seems like a big rise based on the buys alone??
:(
You are comparing two completely different shares with one another. A diamond corporation and a software (tech solutions) company are (imo) not comparable in the way you have just compared them. MCAP is influenced by future growth prospects of a company as well as current fundamentals, something which KNOS has a lot of. I agree that it may have become a bit over-valued based only on what they have reported today, but considering where this company is going (US, Netherlands etc) i don't think the valuation is far off.
Its got to be the selling really, there's been a lot more since I checked this morning. 10% is a very large decrease based only on that though. As you mentioned Ormy it seems like some kind of correction to FV. I need to check all the fundamentals but potentially overbought, it has seemingly been constantly rising since IPO. Still no way I'll be selling here, if anything this is screaming BUY at me now. 10% drop seems wayyyy overdone to me and I can see it bouncing back quickly......
Interesting to see this drop today on the back of this RNS, seemed very positive to me. Good conversion of new revenue to profit, new business succeeding in Netherlands, US etc. Links and recognition with Apple through various projects. Net staff intake of 70 people, reiterated broker rating of hold, dividend issue announced. Other than quite a large amount of selling activity I cant see why this has dropped so significantly, I certainly don't think the selling can account for all of it.....
Did you listen to the conference call panda? I couldn't get away from my desk unfortunately. Did they mention anything more about the deal with Orchid, would have been nice to see some more numbers regarding that in the RNS today... Any ideas as to when we might hear more details?
