Norway is not in the EU and never has been. A very wealthy country with an excellent Sovereign Wealth Fund

Strange to say that Switzerland is effectively in EU. At present they have a huge dispute on their situation vis a vis the EU. I recommend the book about Switzerland's position in the 2nd World War "Armed Neutrality" very interesting and puts everything into perspective.
