Whats the point of MVR purchasing bandwidth for 1 million people ?
It's a free concert.
It's a brand awareness exercise, no direct revenue generation.
It's live on US TV with MelodyVR being pushed appropriately.
It's as much a pilot for US Market as Wireless was for UK/EU.
Forget global audience, US is all that matters.
Actual concert, morning time in US, would you rather watch it on a huge flat screen TV in sofa
or on a Mobile Device ? If you had VR device then it makes a difference.
Why do you think they used IPAD in GMA MVR promo ?
If MVR didnt allocate for huge demand - they did the right thing. If they wanted to make the name they have. Industry is onboard, top VR DJ Marshmello knows about MelodyVR.
Famous Marshmello Concert was inside Fortnite Game. Fortnite has over 250 million registered users now. People didnt get to VR because of Marshmello - Marshmello went to VR because over 100million people market existed. I am sure he has gained newer fans since.
So, if MVR prioritised some over others - for MVR benefit, then good. very good.
Suppose it was a Technical Issue, after all no one amongst us know the reality.
The App was workign just before Marshmello performance.
The App was working soon after the songs.
So, if it was a technical issue, which can happen to any tech company. Its not a disaster.
Launch of Capaldi is there to remind you that the arsenal is loaded.
Lastly
MVR has been actively promoting iOS version - same was seen in GMA promo videos, mention of IPAD
Android is not being favoured
Android users will not be happy
iOS devices holds about 40% of US Market - removing the youngest and oldest mobile device users in US, iOS wins hands down.
Trade War etc will make it difficult to giant TECH to target China etc.
So if we have to sell this company to a tech giant.
We better have it ready for US Market.
Android users can wait a little or not up to them.
But MVR is going all iOS and AMERICA
and THANK EFFING GOD for that, I have been saying that for yonks.
