I am still buying MVR because of what they have under the belt.
Organic growth in US would have a much much higher cost and take far too long.
Now MVR has many more customers, I am really pleased and yes it would come at a price but cheaper compared to organic growth.
Telco sign up continues at a decent rate. Thats a very good race to be in before every big Non-US economy will have their own versions of Spotify/Uber/Netflix/Tesla - its best to secure smaller economies. So nice to know US is our primary market.
JG-Venture raised money was restricted to Theatre use - that should settle worries of dilution, its launch now is certain thanks to Covid which has saved time.
Liam Gallagher didnt have to go with MVR or their recording label didnt have to suggest MVR. Surely it should have been YouTube - why the F did liam wants his fans to pay in the height of pandemic also risk MVR tech not working out ?
Liam launch with 3 studios ready already serving bring has brought a huge boost. All future gigs in O2 etc will be simultaneously streamed good extra bobs.
Several artists and venues would start their own streaming but the cost of setup and quality will weigh on them - many previously mentioned competitors of MVR have already folded.
John Malone however has a lot of money to see off MVR with his Live Nation recently acquired streaming company. I am not at all surprised as since 2018 I have maintained John Malone will end up with MVR because his empire needs Streaming company. I also think this is more of a geography correction as MVR cant go everywhere.
MVR is already connected to many of JM companies but I am also glad MVR didnt fold for cheap. Also JM has money etc to build something to compete MVR but - but then he still doesnt win over spotify/youtube. While MVR can stil win customers from JM's Xirius - this is an interesting aspect because billionaires do not reinvent wheels. Lets see I think a contract with Virgin similar to O2 and MVR will be next.
Founder of Napster who is extremely influential person in Silicon Valley, I hope he comes back in any capacity.
