D45 if you know about O & G in general why the confusion over the differing roles and specialisms of PB & EO, interesting also that you use wiki88(assumed) and then go on to bite one of hands that feeds you.
As I often say I take nothing at face value on this board, I post anything that may pertain to 88E and oil & gas in general, including rig counts :-)

D45 Erik drilled the wells where and too the specification as agreed and to budget.
HE has never claimed (and I have not) that he is a shale/volatile oil specialist.
Remember the choice of drilling point was largely dictated by the availability of a gravel pad.
Since PBs death I am sure that for those deeply concerned by his absence there have been opportunities to sell, would his presence at the recent flow tests made any difference I am unsure and no one here can be certain, although I accept there may have been differences in follow up actions.
HRZ at the moment who knows what next move will be.
As our next cycle seems to be more concerned with conventional I am very happy that we have Erik and Dr Stephen Staley involved.

the potential is there, its happened before on little or no news, look what happened at the tail end of last year.
its a funny old market and difficult to predict hence my reluctance to get into the SP prediction game.
Interesting the different tactics and strategies, some only invested in one AIM share (me), others invested in 20 and hoping to hit big, who is right and who is wrong does not matter, I just try to play a straight bat.

D45 you not correct in saying that DW said no more CRs, give him credit for more intelligence than that.

D45 by the way PB did not manage the Icewine drills Erik Opstad did, both came in on budget, he is respected on the slope, do some deep research on the well histories that he has been involved in, no doubt a very capable and deep thinking fellow.

D45 I concurred that good 3D would encourage a rise in SP, hence why would the share not be attractive to buy at current levels even if for only short term gain.
No matter what company you are invested in the CEO or MD is most very likely picking up a salary cheque, as an MD of an oil exploration company that has three conventional prospects on the slope and likely good 3D results to come I do not understand the snipes at DW.
This coming winter is likely to prove very fruitful.

D45, with respect if 3D results are good and it encourages a rise in SP then why would anyone even if conscious of the possibility of a CR not buy in now and ride the wave before selling?
Anyway how near term a CR?
Currently to the best of our knowledge Dave is exploring other avenues.
Finally if that is your genuine opinion of DW why did you ever invest here, if indeed you actually are.

yes its quiet here at the moment, but then we are an oil exploration company in Alaska where most activity in terms of exploration is confined to a 3-4m winter period although I hope for some positive commercial news soon
