seems to be fixated on Continental, not sure if reports on new wells are correct, seems many are actually drilled and awaiting completion rather than complete new drills and not sure how long a period 350 wells is over, do not know a lot about the company so may be wrong.

DNR has completed an assessment of snow conditions and soil temperatures on the North Slope as related to off-road travel on State-owned land. The assessment was complete as of November 15, 2018.

All Tundra Opening Areas are Currently Closed. 19 of the 20 monitoring stations have not met the criterion of -5°C for soil temperature at 30cm. Snow depths have been met at several of the monitoring stations throughout the area; the required 6 inches of snow has been met at 3 of the 5 stations in the Western Coastal Area. The required 9 inches of snow has not been met at any of the Lower Foothills or Upper Foothills stations. The following table summarizes the soil temperature and snow depths observed this week:

DNR staff will be on the North Slope during the week of November 26th to continue monitoring snow variables and soil temperatures.

Danielson the leases are grossed at the offer and then netted out before the final offer letter hence the discrepancy, the acres we bid for in 2018 sale were not offered in the 2017 sale, not sure why, possibly legal details.
If you check the 2017 tract map you will see the lease that would normally be sold in 4 blocks a-d is not offered 100%.
So there was no dropping any leases between offer and purchase.
check the map offering the tracts and the results map from 2017 sale, then the leases by ADL number offered and what we purchased.
