16:51 reaction to recent news flow has been very positive, certainly beyond my expectations :-) but those invested via OTC seem to be a little more durable than many here expected, whole new ball game and I do not know what to expect these days.
My view is that quite a few here are adding one + one and getting a big plus and a few are doing the same and getting a minus, the truth is possibly somewhere between the two.
One thing is certain I am unsure if anyone on the boards has all the data to be able to anything but guess.

If the Bonds deal had been agreed and put into practise there would have been a haircut of between 6 % & 10% so the deal we have struck is excellent given all known factors.
Excellent result for shareholders.

The loan originally via Bank of America and secured against tax credits has been a millstone round our necks since Governor Walker vetoed payments in 2016, subsequently the SOA has invoked a minimal repayment regime that would have seen final payments in ~2026, may have been faster or slower subject to price of oil.
However if as some suggest a major already invested in Alaska is looking at us then whether or not those tax credits had already been repaid / sold is probably of little consequence as they would still have been utilisable.
For me seeing us debt free means we have reduced our cash burn and put something into the bank, something that so many other North Slope explorers have so far failed to do as the state sits on $700M worth of credits.
Gives some faith in management abilities (including DW who I am certain would have been involved).

My view for what its worth is that many posters are adding one plus one and getting one hundred.
Some of that may be genuine optimism and some of it may just be puff, whatever its interesting reading above, below and between the lines and seeing attitudes that often change as shareholding status changes.
Ultimately as OTC has proved this year so far best to keep an open mind if it's not impossible it's possible.

I would suggest that you take a look at ASX rules on continuous disclosure and in particular the exceptions relating to incomplete negotiations.
Acting within the rules companies can pick & choose to some extent often to avoid a "false market" situation.
AIM has a similar rule and interestingly makes the point that all information thus delayed must remain confidential.
As an example look at the way OSL release their drilling and well reports.

On a pleasanter subject OTC seems to be going well today, perhaps Ashley Gilbert and or Fivemark Partners are getting a message across that the market seems to like.
