Paul Bazinski's death was a massive blow to the joint venture.
BEX have continued their interest which suggests that there is still belief that Icewine may bear fruit at some time in the future.
Waiting for 0.25 might be a little to far even if (when) we have a CR, if future plans finally include targeting the Icewine conventional then this will move positively and H2 will may possibly see that news.
Since PB's demise we have seen spikes which have been good opportunities to take profit (unless people have bought at the top), never sure why some investors never take advantage, after all we are all here to make money or have they actually taken advantage and now want to restart the cycle with a low buy in and post to suit?

One small correction Icewine 1 & 2 in close proximity to each other 50' apart.
HRZ at Icewine in over maturation window so doubtful if worth pursuing at that location, oil we saw was leached from cores using solvent.
HRZ at Charlie-1 was more positive.

Would prefer that we take all available data, possibly including GBP's Alcor 3D (which will be available cheaply) this year and properly locate a drill site that maximises chance of success.

not enough imo to finance Icewine development , but we are talking a farm out so a lot depends on negotiations.

We did not give up ALL the leases to the North, both GBP and ourselves gave up leases at different periods in the area between our A & C zones, GBP have actually bid and regained some leases they have previously relinquished, seems odd at times I agree and I would like to see us get a clear strategy advised for the future, think it will have to happen as we get to and near the ten year anniversary on our Icewine leases.

Think the AOGCC may have plenty of input if the Talitha Unit discovery does include some of our leases (which I am sure it does),.
Even a possibility that to ensure maximum extraction an effective combined working unit could be imposed on all parties, it's a complex set of statutes designed to protect not only the lessee's rights but also the States.
I do not pretend to understand all the regulations and ramifications but we own the mineral rights on our leases as our neighbours own theirs.
Well spacing policy is part of that policy also.

Have followed Great Bear Petroleum since 2014, thro the Ed Duncan and Mike Mason days, 88 Energy always looked to GBP possibly proving up our acreage there is nothing new in us lokking Northwards.

think you are seeing smoke and mirrors, yesterdays final UT trade that set the hurdle for today was a massive inflate on the true mid price, possibly with intention to provoke a sell off first thing today.
No movement in ASX and that is by far the biggest market.

Problem is a drill is so much more sexy than seismic to many investors.
During this year the first Bex leases (6?) will reach their ten year anniversary , this does not mean we lose them but we will have to start justifying our position with forward planning to DOG, exactly as PANR did with Talitha & Alkaid working units I believe.
May put a focus on the job.

I agree that the company needs to replace the brains we lost when Paul died.
