According to their 2023 business presentation YE2023 2P reserves 117mmbbls, they are in production and have a share buy back plan and dividend in place, so further ahead in the cycle and with ACTUAL production.
So not really comparing eggs with eggs.
But their share price is probably already reflective of what they have today so you have to decide which company meets what you are looking for with your investment.
If you are already invested here you have probably already decided that the potential here is worth the risks.

Interesting that PTAL have 2024 Company presentation tomorrow so DT may well just be getting the name across.

See below* cut off date for RECEIPT was 8th May so looks as if brokers (with a bank holiday Monday in mind) have set quite early cut offs, I tend to vote fairly early just in case.
* I am assuming this is the procedure for most UK brokers.
United Kingdom (CREST Voting Instruction)
DI Holders in CREST may transmit voting instructions by utilising the CREST voting service in
accordance with the procedures described in the CREST Manual. CREST personal members or other
CREST sponsored members, and those CREST members who have appointed a voting service
provider, should refer to their CREST sponsor or voting service provider, who will be able to take
appropriate action on their behalf.
In order for instructions made using the CREST voting service to be valid, the appropriate CREST
message (CREST Voting Instruction) must be properly authenticated in accordance with Euroclear’s
specifications and must contain the information required for such instructions, as described in the
CREST Manual (available via www.euroclear.com/CREST).
To be effective, the CREST Voting Instruction must be transmitted so as to be received by the
Company’s agent (3RA50) no later than 4:00pm (BST) on Wednesday, 8 May 2024. For this purpose,
the time of receipt will be taken to be the time (as determined by the timestamp applied to the
CREST Voting Instruction by the CREST applications host) from which the Company’s agent is able
to retrieve the CREST Voting Instruction by enquiry

NORTH SLOPE OFF-ROAD TRAVEL STATUS REPORT
May 6, 2024
DNR has completed an assessment of snow conditions on the North Slope as related to off-road travel on State-owned
land. The coastal tundra opening areas were sampled the week of April 29 – May 3, 2024.
ALL TUNDRA OPENING AREAS. Weather patterns and ambient temperatures have been consistent with the Freeze
Thaw Cycle, which is common this time of year.
Observations for each specific area are provided below:
Eastern and Western Coastal Areas are OPEN. The Eastern Coastal Area opened January 11, 2024, and the Western
Coastal Area opened on January 16, 2024. Road dust and vegetation are leading to some snow-pack deterioration in
heavily trafficked areas. Areas of high-density roads within the oil field may no longer be suitable for off-road travel.
Generally, winter off-road travel is appropriate in most locations. The snowpack remains deep, with many locations
continuing to have protective snow slab layers. While winter off-road travel remains open, areas of exposed tundra should be avoided.
Lower Foothills Area. The Lower Foothills Area remains closed. This area was not assessed during this trip.
Upper Foothills Area. The Upper Foothills Area remains closed. This area was not assessed during this trip.
DNR staff will return to the North Slope the week of May 6 to continue monitoring snow conditions and soil temperatures.
The next status report will likely be sent on May 10. Closing announcements will be released separately in addition
to specifically stating in this report when the opening date occurred. If you have any questions, please contact the

"Now get back to the present, the BOD have joined into the recent capital raises, in particular the newly arrived D Hobbs "
If the Director Deals tab is correct D Hobbs is the only director to have purchased shares since Sep,22.
Thats their (other directors) choice and I am not criticising, just clarifying your statement.

I do not believe that Olderwiser and Scot126 are one and the same.
However is your last paragraph fact regarding triumph-1's investment here?
Certainly at odds with his claim
" Full disclosure: I sold on results day at 0.405 as that was always my strategy here from the get go."
Based on his posting history bought in during February at a lower price.
So if above accurate no loss rather a gain.

US$10B is just the pipeline (probably end up more) and you have to wonder if a stand alone pipeline would work in any case, they need a gas treatment plant in Prudhoe and LNG Facility at the end of the pipeline so they can distribute, export the gas etc.
10:21
I welcome that the directors here have healthy shareholdings, however I do remember that in September 22 three directors chose to sell substantial holding on the market which resulted in an immediate hit for all shareholders.
At least two directors immediately chose to partake in an options programmed at probably ~ 70% discount to replace their shares.
Lots of excuses were found for their actions but ultimately they did what was right for them as individuals and it hurt the shareholdes here.
Its a tough old world.
16:03
I am just giving the facts :-)
It would be good for the North Slope in general itf it were to happen but to listen to some you would imagine that the pipeline construction was a guaranteed thing, yes ADGC are getting desperate and speaking to prospective suppliers etc to show they are doing something but they still have no money to build the pipeline.
13:19
Sounds like desperation, ADGC have been seeking private capital to finance project for years.
If you worked for the ADGC what message would be sending out!

13:21
Not so sure how positive that is, pipeline depends on private capital which is yet to found despite years of trying to sell this project, seems like the whole project is running out of time.

"In other corporate initiatives, 88 Energy’s Board will consider in the new year whether a share
consolidation in 2024 is in the best interests of shareholders, and if 88 Energy decides to undertake
a share consolidation, shareholders will be able to vote on this at the 2024 AGM. "

As there is no resolution for same at AGM looks as if shelved for a while.
