OSD, you may already be aware of this, but given your xpat status you may not. Iceland sell unbaked Gregg's sausage rolls. You just need to chuck them in the oven for 20 mins when you get home.

I don't mind a steak bake, and quite often go for the sausage roll/ steak bake combination (variety is the spice of life). It is more of a pasty full of gravy though, and calling it a "steak bake" is somewhat misleading. I find myself in Bowness-on-Windermere in the lakes at least a couple of times a year, and there us a shop there called The Cornish Bakery. I believe they may be a chain. Their sausage rolls are fit for the gods, and should you encounter one, i'd thoroughly recommend it. Cornish pasties aren't bad either, and actually contain meat which is always a bonus.

Bigw77 - as a northern boy in his early 40's, i must confess they were a staple of my diet for a number of years. 2 meat and potato pasties for a quid were the only thing that broke up the monotony of being dragged from shop to shop in town by my mother as a youngster, so i have many fond memories of them. I'm not a violent man, but i had to restrain myself from assaulting the poor Gregg's cashier the day he informed me they no longer sold them, but noticed they had started doing chicken and chorizo pasties (wtf). I found haven in their sausage rolls instead, which are pretty damn good, but never quite touch me in tender places the same. Tis a sad tale of lost love.

On a more serious note, the Gregg's share price has taken a real pummelling of late. Clearly despite our efforts, sausage rolls aren't selling well enough. Maybe we could put Tiger and Profitjocks skills towards a more honourable goal? If they can somehow bring back meat and potato pasties i'd more than forgive them 😂

Underwater myself Colenal, with a 1.07 average. Does bring some hope when they finally announce something though. I know what you mean, i don't comment that much but do read the board most days, and it went from pleasant discussion to being infested with pumpers and cross-rampers. Most seem to have got bored and moved onto something else now. Hope it turns out Tom Sawyer is the strong silent type and finally comes out with something solid soon 😂

Well, we may not be hitting the high's, but number of trades going through is a vast improvement on the last few months when comments often outnumbered trades. Glad to see there's some life in the old dog yet (not a reference to you OSD 😂).

Thank you for addressing my point. I'm on various stock markets and have seen loads of penny stocks do massive rises on nothing without having to address it. Is this a rule that is specific to the LSE? I mostly trade on NASDAQ and it certainly isn't a rule there.

Davey50 - why respond to my post if you are going to talk about nothing to do with my post. Again, i never mentioned whether the stock was worth it. So straight question to you? What is the job of a CEO in relation to his share price?

Davey50 - That has nothing to do with my post. I never once mentioned fair value, or whether the stock was worth it. I stated that it goes completely against his duties as a CEO to purposely drive his own SP down. There are quantum companies and biotech companies all over the worlds stock markets that are worth billions who aren't making any money and are hemouraging cash for fun, and have no products (quantum computers don't exist yet), only IP. Do you see their CEO's coming out and saying "i don't know why you're all buying my stock, it's a lump of sh*t?

Davey50 - That isn't his job though is it? He's a CEO. His job is the reward his SH with increases in SP so they can make money on their investment. It's also to inform his SH on the progress the company is making. Actively trying to ruin his own SP is doing the exact opposite of his job. What you're saying makes no sense in terms of him fulfilling his obligations as a CEO, so my question still stands.

Seriously, this dude releases nothing, i mean absolutely nothing, apart from cash raises and board member change notices for about a year. Leaves his SH with no hope, no light at the end of the tinnel, and no hint as to whether there ever will be. He is totally derelict in his duty as a CEO. Then when there is a rise in SP, he can't come out quick enough to smash it down. Suddenly he finds his long lost voice. What a joke of a CEO, and what an disaster of a human being.

Colenal - Best case, there's been a leak that news is getting released at some point this week, and the sudden buying rush and subsequent rise has caused loads of people to pile in. Worst case, some pro trader has clicked on that this was on it's knees/ oversold and figured if they can create a bit of momentum from buying large at a low price they'll make a tidy profit selling into the increased liquidity they've created at a higher value. Can't really think of any other scenarios than those tbh. I know it was aimed at OSD, but figured i'd chuck my 2p in instead of putting it towards a sausage roll 👀

after a year, we finally get some movement on this, and instead of us all getting to share a bit of excitement, the board gets overtaken by a bunch of d*cks ramping the **** sticks they got themselves stuck in. congrats to osd, colenal and many others who've endured this over the last year, hope it picks you up and makes you some money.

Well, on a positive note, i'm glad to learn that Tom Sawyer is still alive and breathing. I feared he'd croaked. However, when he starts spouting about somebody's leadership credentials, it's a bit like Hitler giving a speech on racial equality 😂

Don't think there has been much to post about bud. The company has gone quiet apart from the odd announcement detailing the shifting of the old guard. Zero news on strategy, intentions going forward, or any other juicy stuff to get people in any way excited. I know more about what is going on in the Zambezi than i do about whats going on in this company now 😂

I sincerely hope i'm wrong, but the only time this company communicates with it's SH is when they are legally obligated to do so, and when they're going to hammer their SH investment into the ground. This float is ridiculous now, a reverse split will be on the cards at some point i think, and then potentially more dilution. The can only judge future behaviour on past behaviour, and at the moment, they are looking like a bunch of absolute crooks. I hope i'm wrong, and they finally achieve something of substance from all the cash raises.
