Mukka--I tend to agree with you. We had DB telling us in August that--These Boys do not Hang around and will Want to Get on with It!!! Poor old DB-as good as he is--his hands are somewhat tied as he is not the operator and we are in their hands. Hopefully there is good reason for this delay and soon we will get the string of news as indicated as we cannot keep having wonderful presentations as to how good this find is. We now need some meat on the bones and be moving forward---fingers crossed and we will be moving forward soon--as patience will be beginning to be stretched!!
Watched ADE--the disabled BBC reporter do his final programme on Africa last evening and what some people go through to get a smidgen of gold in ZIM!! So many opportunities in Zim if only the govt could be stable so more investment could be attracted to develop their vast array of natural resources.
its situations like this that show the chasm of difference between the Northern hemispere countries and African countries as to how business is done. Africa --no urgency of marketing tomorrow, next week , next month will do. No wonder so many countries in Africa are where they are???
Lucky--we need to have this kick started again to show there is a clear future in land based oil in this country. Understand to a degree the long wait but now lets get on with it and lets hope with the Planning approval other pieces of the jigsaw will come into place!!
That may well betrue--I do however feel sorry for those who have invested in fracking companies and I guess come Monday those share will hit rock bottom. Whether fracking does pose such a problem who really knows?? This without doubt is an election stunt IMO!! Lets hope it has NO effect upon those holding shares in conventional oil/gas companies--we have so much potential here and with good news imminent it would be a shame to have an unnecessary knee jerk reaction--I doubt it but who knows??
Agree 100%--gkb---the UK is indeed a laughing stock that allows protestors walk as slow as they like in front of a vehicle, preventing them going about their lawful business--what if that lane was 10 miles long?? The vehicle would never get down there in a day--sorry but the UK law cow tows to all and sundry instead of supporting industry and law abiding people. PC in this case is NOT a POLICE CONSTABLE!!!!

Cheers Guys--I appreciate this is Africe/Zimbabwe--but it does seem ludicrous that by delaying getting this thing going is a bit like cutting your nose off to spite your face---Zimbabwe is in desperate need if income and the govt taxes from ventures like this---just get on with it eh??

If--as suggested--they missed the signature signing by one day--I would say that is gross professionalism?? I am a stickler for timimg and being punctual and was alwasy a minute or two early for any appointment and to miss this one seems poor form?? I guess they will get it done but the ball is in the Zims court now and they can be bloody minded as well??
Many are getting a little nervous at the continued No News situation and quite understandable--however it is my belief that maybe they are waiting to get the Planning rubber stamped also they have ALL their cards in place, however this HAS to kick start again soon otherwise we will be in a UKOG situation--we want to continue the momentum of excitement for the future of this project
you may be joking?? But with the last company I worked with in 1998 we went to Elephant Hills Hotel Zimbabwe and we were asked to take all sorts of school stuff--pens paper rubbers little book etc and we gave them to the Round Table Reps atan Hotel in Harare---all secretly done and they then distributed to the schools in need!! So maybe you are not far off the mark!!!
