The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
I have to say that in the past I have been at the wrong end of consolidations TRP etc but they were company with problems, there has to be a good reason for a consolidation and IMO the Board have said enough is enough and want to act and be like a mid tier company. There are moves as well be LTH to have a change of broker and PR company, so those on Twitter make your views known. If we are to be a mid tier company we need to act like one and surround ourselves with those who act like mid tier people including PR. We need a PR company that ACTIVELY promotes UJO in a way that attracts the right investors, including corporate funds. It remains to be seen how this pans out but IMHO it is a step in the right direction and as long as our investment is made more solid and has the things in place to get the sp ticking UP it must be good news.
That early morning BUY looks to have been sold a little while later or NOT sold just a transfer?? Would be the answer as to why it did not tick the sp up---getting a bit stagnant atm --we need some fire in the belly to get the sp going again
I know nothing about the directors deallings, but as an onlooker as it were, I see people who have had shares allocated at between 10p/15p and now at circa 80p and a dropping price, I think I would have solda few?? Bird in the hand. Be interesting to see whether they buy back when share hits bottom---if anyone knows when that will be. Maybe they see a short period of no news, so sp will drift, good oppoortunity to make a few quid! For me I will hold fire!
FUNDAMENTALS says nearly 100k more share BOUGHT than SOLD?? How accurate is that?? and if so why are we down so much, never fathom it out!!
TRICKY--Good post and thanks--something most of us may not be aware of! IMHO it is futile trying to predict ANY Share Price---we hear of punters/investors predicting a share price going to rise to this that and tother, but only the market dictates the sp and NO ONE can say what an sp will be. Futile ramping IMO and when it does not reach that price they all kick off and many sell----- FUTILE and serves no purpose---very annoying/frustrating when a good news RNS results in sp falling but you either stick with it or bail out---I have similar with UJO, but I keep the faith.
I Guess there is no point in issuing an RNS when they are still working on the well to increase outage to max allowed? No point in issuing a daily RNS saying Today we are at 80 barrel's tomorrow at 100 etc. They need to issue the RNS once they have completed the work over to the 500 per day or whatever they get to, once stabalised and everything OK one may assume that they could put in for a greater outage if that is feasible?
Hopefully we get a decent rise/more news B4 the stock market crash then??
Unbelievable that she continues to drift south on such good news this morning, many yesterday were saying once news out she will blow?? Seems atm the balloon has burst! Hopeful of greater rises once further meat on bones on the deals!
LSE is sometimes unbelievable as a professional outfit. No Primary RNS today but issue a price monitoring one???? Over the years I have been here it has been one continual breakage or lack of RNSs with different companies, which can have an effect on sp if investors are not aware??
Would have hoped with this news we would have been well in double digit rise???
SP makes no sense, when you look at todays Fundamentals and see 100k MORE shares BOUGHT than sold and yet sp drops by this amount???? Not concerned---anyone any idea when this contract should be signed'??
Typical AIM--Many more share BOUGHT today than SOLD and yet we get a drop????
An interesting session---if you could hear it---heard all I want to, still going on. As is DB the Reabold boys are just as excited by WN need to get it tested, and answered my question regarding whether they were too small a company to develop it. Options open but confirmed they are always talking to the industry who are well aware of what is going on---the usual Sea based find on land, oil took them by surprise as they were going for gas. Will take time to develop etc, but of course we in UJO have Wressle Biscathorp and others, so ATM a job to keep pace with what is going on at times!!!!
Also you mentioned a dividend---DB mentioned over a year ago that on a sale of WN a dividend would be paid and I would expect him to honour that statement, In the shorter term I would suggest that many should be in for a good pay day when WN is sold, with hike in sp plus the dividend---I would further suggest that the talks DB has with ´´others´´ is foundation building for a sell off at some time in the future?
Jarrovian--Thanks, I guess they will push ahead with their projects and new sites when they think fit and not wait to sp re rate, the two are separate of course, but I would hope sp will re rate long before then. I would think WN is on the cards to have CPR and EWT before any new development sites. Lots and lots going and to look forward to---gambling on a bit into ODX to get profit as they are due to sign the contract, and put profits in here. I am hoping these low prices are not for much longer!!!!
David Bramhill is a VERY informed and qualified person and NO ONES FOOL. He is aware of everything going on on social media site, about BMD and people moaning about sp, but this mornings interview---and yes I have listened to it all very carefully---is one of his best so far. Obvious to all that he is getting calls from majors, by his comments on them saying--This must me an off shore discovery and then amazed at finding out it is ON SHORE. So much to come Wressle IMHO no doubt will increase flow rate--500 a day is good but not ground breaking---West Newton is going to rocket the company, then Biscathorpe is recognised as one of the biggest projects to come, Kelsey could be expanded and he hinted he and the partners have other projects in the pipeline which he could not elude to. And finally he confirmed in his opinion, the SP will give us rewards. The company is better placed than hundreds of US companies they looked at in an Exhibition, covering many different industries. From little acorns , eh??
Mirasol--people are not BANGING ON about Hydrogen--as you put it---but putting forward legitimate and validarguments/discussionsas to what the future holds not only for UJO and its partners, but the wider oil/gas community. The world is always looking for new and more efficient fuel supplies and maybe less pollutant, so the discussion is about what are the alternative ways of using the oil and gas that companies like UJO and its partners will find, and because this very much appears a BIG find then of course the resouce becomes all the more valuable and one which we hope will reflect well on OUR share price and investment
