Girlfriend proving non Covid now, but very tired. But it's kicking off with people that have not had it before. Can't remember if you said it was you or your wife had it last year. Think it's diluted and mild now.

My favourite & only charity is food banks 'Tesco' i will up my regular donations this year. I would of picked 66.6p for the 2024 end year competition. Apologies for such but have happy new year all.

20 years ago my mate offered up his stocks & shares portfolio for me to have a gander !.

I immediately asked why are you paying £120 each way to trade with Coutts when you can pay £9.50 like me .......shock horror disbelief. However i previously was paying £25 each way , learning curve !

Wrong, example again, if Lloyds went to 24p i'm in a position to buy, Nwg £1.09p again i'd buy if i want to buy my nearest neighbours house i'd buy. Some cash admittedly is only getting bit under 4% but at anytime i can pounce with such & often do, however i don't really need to add net worth if it ain't easy. It's not all about money It's what one is comfortable & satisfied with. My first state pension payment in February will just be spent mostly on others ? .....given away on family & friends.

One should not plan ! . Take your opportunities when they arrive. Example : NS&I income bond at 6.2% guaranteed by the Government- no loss ever no reduction in share price equivalent, £1m if you got it . Nuclear war, covid, stock market crash, nothing can damage your wonga.
