RE: Spudding15 Dec 2020 11:19
Each to their own thoughts Pashman - so no offence intended with my below expectations.
I've a small speculative holding here so not a negative slant towards ZPHR - but from my experience as soon as that drill hits the ground (spud date) the sp will gradually retrace down to some prior support of 0.6p?
Exciting that drilling is, it's risky stuff for any micro cap oily. In my opinion people will derisk throughout spud to Total Depth (TD).
If ZPHR hit the jackpot (or multiple fans) then of course the sp will rocket. If it's a duster the sp will be so low you're trapped. Hence people derisk through drilling, not add risk. As I mentioned, my opinion and I may be wrong. What I have speculated with here I'm not fussed about losing (well I am, but not going to lose sleep over it) so will hold until TD. Who will hold their nerve on a binary result once the drill bit starts turning?
Having said all that, this drill is 'different' as they are drilling vertical first before deciding on sidetrack. The two-staged approach may cause a different sp trend during drilling.
Take my post like a pinch of salt... just putting thoughts out there.
