Not surprised sp is down. Went looking for gold-copper and only detected copper so far.
Nobody cares about the copper when we are hunting gold at WSBN. The Ravenswood Gold Mine means nothing if the word "gold" is missing from the drilling samples. Let's hope upper Ravenswood Gold Mine style area of interest pops some high-grade gold further along. Not looking good so far - sp proven that today.
Great news drilling underway at RS
Just have a question - If we are RC drilling up to 150m (todays RNS) and there's 30 -100 metres of Permian cover at RS... are we only drilling 50-120m down?
That is as deep as RC drill goes... yet the 10th August RNS states the magnetic ore body is just under 150m down. This means we at best scratch the top of the main targets. Unless they are diamond core drilling deeper strsight off which I doubt it. Any thoughts?
Still no drilling at RS yet then
I'm not surprised by the ZPHR sell off. Just inline eith the wider markets and although ZPHR is in a good place, it is not without fresh risk.
The Williston 16 DUC's - will they be completed this year should crude collapse?
Look what happened in 2014/15 - oil at $130 sunk to $20 very fast during a downturn. As the UK enters a recession the rest of Europe about to follow.
I'm just sitting this out hoping I am wrong and the market improves. Oh, and little chuckle how I mentioned at the time 16-2 paradox well was a gas discovery and was shot down for mentioning gas... atleast US gas prices set to rise now as the main shale gas plays have peaked and falling off fast ftom now on. The era if cheap US gas prices is over.
Kelatoni I'm with you on the "elephant in the room" regarding drilling at RS.
I've mentioned the 9th Dec RNS several times only to be put down by over excited/desperate posters likely over-invested balls deep and have predetermined in their head one outcome - another GGP.
However - the elephant stinks of something not adding up. Same responses about Rio and heritage sites and covid etc... where's that confitmed by WSBN?
I'm here for RS as a punt and invested way before 9th Dec RNS and was expecting some drill results about a month in etc. WsBN posted on Twitter the rig drilling at RS. Then we had the xmas break... fair enough.
Come New Year no drill results or RNS to say drilling restarted at RS. Bit strange and thought update come February maybe.
Yet here we are - 6 months later batch of RNS's to say site cleared, RS drilling contract in place, rig mobilisation and the commencement of RS drilling as if it's a maiden drill campaign. It's like 9th December drilling never happened. Yes, it says "restarting" at RS but to me that doesn't make everything fall into line. History can't be erased - what happened from 9th Dec to now for new contracts, areas being cleared and drill result from first few holes of the "cleared" pad site in December?
Yes, I read it.
"Richard Poulden, Wishbone Gold's Chairman, commented, "We are very pleased that drilling has finally started at Red Setter."
Image of the drill rig at Red Setter and nothing more in the RNS to say no drilling took place.
RP - 31/05/22 "I look forward to announcing the start of drilling at Red Setter shortly for the 3,000 metres of the first phase program."
So what was drilled 9th December at Red Setter?
Not followed HBR lately as bottom draw holding after buying way too high.
However, I notice 8.4p /share divi was approved yo be paid 18th May. I've not received any HBR dividend yet - is this the same for others? Just wondered before I contact my nominee broker, thanks.
I still have the photo from WSBN twitter showing the drill rig at Red Setter saved on my phone
9th December 2021 - Drilling underway at Red Setter
3rd May 2022 -
Richard Poulden, Wishbone Gold's Chairman, commented, "We are very pleased to have finally secured this specialist drill rig for our long awaited Red Setter drilling programme. All exploration companies have found it difficult to secure drilling services in Western Australia, especially with the COVID restriction in the State over the last year and the competitive backdrop experienced for miners and explorers in the current mineral exploration boom. We are hopeful of having the rig on site and drilling at Red Setter before the end of May."
I still don't follow as drilling was "underway" at RS 5 months ago?
Did they drill for a bit and find nothing (yet not inform the market) and so then had to clear more ground and have heritage surveys carried out in new locations?
Hopkins you sound like you was one of many who bought ZPHR purely for the CPR news due and the gamble for quick 20% profit backfired and left holding a stock in a company you never really had interest in.
Today's sell-off is one of many in the same boat.
For long-term investors the ZPHR story is progressing nicely. Great interview from CH to support the RNS release.
Fair comments people, exciting times.
HZM have their finance completed and the sp has done very little. Hopefully PXC sp will respond more positive.
Respect ^
Excellent post Kieth. People need to reapect what BT and KAV are doing and have acheived to date.
Wonder what a Paradox JV ZPHR - Whiting would go down? :-)
Commercial copper? Lol
Top Drill Limited have been appointed as drilling contractor and with Western Australian borders having opened on 3 March, and the wet season coming to an end, will be in a position to confirm the start of drilling shortly.
ยท Drilling is proposed to re-start at Red Setter on previously cleared drill sites, and then continue to the newly cleared areas, with an extensive drilling program at Cottesloe planned for later in the year
So is WSBN now using a different drill operator for Red Setter? Seems to me they starting again (as nothing to report from previous drill of rig on site photo) and new drilling contractor wants the area clearing better. I say this as HE1 tried using a mineral rig for exploring deep helium reservoirs and then realised the cutting corner by not using an oil rig was a bad idea - now looking for new drilling operator after hyping Mitchell drilling up (until it went wrong).
Estimated timeframe based on third-party CPR works. So what if a little delayed - unless you're one to have just bought in for CPR news and hoping to sell straight after
Can't wait for reading CPR on those 8 upper oil layers... Monday my guess :-)
