Also new CEO Darcy Willson-Rymer starts on the 8th March & I suspect he may consider consolidating a number of outlets - I know several cities that have 2 within sight of each other & hopefully he will also concentrate on the on-line presence/app that Card have finally woken up too & which I now use regularly but rarely see advertised anywhere! So great potential for the new blood to shine imo

Well the incentivised RBS Business Switch to the 9 approved Challenger Banks imposed by the EU following the failure of the W&G "exercise" closes for applications on Sunday 28th Feb 2021 - Therefore I suspect once that is "seen to have been completed" we may get some information on a possible Government share buy back - NWG would probably have to pay a premium to the existing sp which should also reflect in the market sp over time.

The only problem is Government still own circa 62.4% of the shares - it has previously stated that it has no wish to own/run a Bank & have sold tranches @ 330p in 2015 & 271p in 2018 therefore it was happy to dispose the shares at a loss around these levels. Obviously their situation has changed significantly over the past year & they may feel the need to dispose at even lower levels - Time will tell but I agree we should see 200p fairly soon.

Oxy - They confirmed the sale of the whole lot on 18/11/20 with a Special Divi of 42.75p announced 3/12/20 to holders as at 11/12/20 paid on 6/1/21 so I guess "You wouldn't want to be out of that one before 11/12/20!"

HL are in a nosedive since Woodford - I know quite a few employees who tell me internally it is a shambles - Vote with your feet plenty of other platforms available - just avoid the "free" ones - all imo.

Just close your accounts & vote with your feet - Since Woodford, Hargreaves Landsdown has been in a nose dive & i know a number of employees who have confirmed this to me - DYOR for the replacement personally I use ii (interactive investor) basic cost £9.95 PM but that is for both ISA and a trading account plus you get one free trade per month for that fee & they are mostly spot on with their pricing - I also have tried a number of "free" platforms but they did not work for me. Anyway DYOR.
