More encouraging news from MGC today re the successful Glioblastoma pre-clinical trial results.

Highlights:
· Recently completed 3 year pre-clinical in-vitro research into the use of cannabinoids in the treatment of Glioblastoma, a fast-growing and aggressive form of brain tumour, delivers outstanding results.
· The study undertaken on 30 biopsy samples from 18 patients, sought to determine the optimal formulation for the treatment of Glioblastoma, including the most efficacious ratio of Cannabidiol (CBD) to Cannabigerol (CBG).
· The study demonstrated that MGC Pharma's proprietary formulations were cytotoxic to Glioblastoma tumour and stem cells, reducing the cells' viability and inducing caspase-dependent cell apoptosis (or cell death).
· Tests conducted on the Glioblastoma biopsy samples demonstrated that the CBD/CBG treatment's efficacy was not enhanced by the addition of a widely used chemotherapy treatment, which has been linked to adverse events.
· With the results of the research study demonstrating the cannabinoid treatment's viability, MGC Pharma is planning to undertake additional research to further demonstrate the formulation's efficacy as a treatment for Glioblastoma.

CEO quote: "The results of this trial are enormously exciting both for the Company, and for the treatment of fatal cancerous tumours. MGC Pharma's research has demonstrated the effect of naturally derived cannabinoid products on stage IV brain tumours without the use of toxic chemotherapy components".

Encouraging news coming out of N4P today re Oncology: "The study showed clear tumour suppression".
Other highlights from the RNS:

· Medicines Discovery Catapult study shows demonstrable suppression of tumour growth using a reduced load of TNFalpha with Nuvec®, enhancing data set from previous successful studies. Further results on the mechanism of action to follow

· Successful loading of Nuvec® with SiRNA and transfection in vitro showing clear gene suppression

· Positive preliminary results from ongoing oral studies undertaken at the University of Queensland ('UQ') showing Nuvec® delivered orally has transfected cells in the small intestine

· Material Transfer Agreement ("MTA") remains ongoing

AND...very upbeat messaging from CEO Nigel Theobald:

"We have now demonstrated across 50ug, 20ug and now 10ug of TNF alpha loaded onto Nuvec® results in tumour suppression in vivo. We now wait with interest the further data due on this study to better understand how the suppression has occurred which will help determine the most appropriate use of Nuvec® as a delivery system to help treat tumours.

"Our proof of concept work is extremely encouraging and, again, points towards multiple applications that Nuvec® could be used for, although it is clear that precise formulation for use in each area will be critical when advancing towards a commercial product. Purchase orders from the NHS must be coming GDR's way soon.

Pivotal decision makers in the NHS and the Government were all fizzing with excitement back in March about GDR:

* "how advances in technology can rapidly transform how we use genomics closer to care for our patients"
&
* "this bedside test is fantastic news for the hundreds of babies – and their parents – who would otherwise lose their hearing when given this common antibiotic in intensive care situations".

This surely equates to giving GDR the green light for a national roll out when you read the amazing comments in the NHS press release from key players such as National Medical Director Stephen Powis, Chief Scientific Officer for England Professor Dame Sue Hill, Minister for Innovation Lord Kamall & Director of Policy and Campaigns at the National Deaf Children’s Society Mike Hobday.

I've been invested in TEK since the 6p days as I believe in the concept and in our portfolio companies. What would help TEK now though is more effective PR in publications such as the Sunday Times, Telegraph, Financial Times, Wall Street Journal and the trade press etc. The over reliance on IC every few months for a spot of PR is very old school. TEK and its portfolio companies are at the forefront of their respective sectors and the PR and comms need to mirror this. Cliff / TEK need to talk up the billion pound companies being created at Guident, Lucyd, Salarius, Smart Food Tek and Belluscura. The very rare articles and occasional tweets about TEK are not representative of such a cutting edge company. Come on Cliff lets see you start developing the investor relations and PR so that share holders really start to benefit. Yes, the MOS share price could be over x 10 from here in the short term and the potential for long term investors in this sector with MOS is massive. If you research the sector you'll realise the incredible potential of MOS. Patience is all that is required. The IC article is spot on regarding TEK being so hugely undervalued (& overlooked / misunderstood by investors currently). The article quite correctly points out that in Tek’s 2021 accounts, the Lucyd stake alone was held in the books for just $17.3m. i.e. it is worth at least 56 per cent more than in Tek’s accounts. IC calculate this to add 5.5p a share to Tek’s proforma NAV taking it to 44.5p.

Plus IC also quite rightly states the following, which is a superb summary and one Cliff and his PR team should be hammering home:

"The shares are trading on a 33 per cent discount, a valuation that completely ignores the potential for a bumper gain to be realised from the forthcoming Nasdaq IPO of Innovative Eyewear (Lucyd)".

I'm with you on "the £100 million before you know it" valuation. That's just over x 10 from here and very achievable. i.e. It is highly likely that the MOS share price could sky rocket pretty soon. What I would also add is that when buying into Aim listed plcs a good philosophy to have is to look for the biggest gains possible to balance the risk/reward. With SAR I bought in at 0.4 and sold a chunk at just over 8p (A x20+ gain and I still hold quite a few even after the consolidation there). With TEK I bought in at 6p and sold at over 30p (& still holding quite a few). Both Sareum and Tek Capital, like Mobile Streams, are at the forefront / cutting edge of their sectors. The risk is significant but so have been the gains. I've also utilised this approach with the likes of SNG, TXP, WEB and several other AIM stocls and the gains have been superb. My due diligence always factors in the speculative gains to be made, which is why another of my favourites is MOS, as I can see the same rationale for investing that drew me to TEK, SAR & co. ITV's impending demotion from the FTSE 100 is sadly self inflicted. Our SP was trading between 110-120p pre the strategy announcement which had a disastrous impact on the share price which saw it plummet from 110p to below 75p. GSK has announced today that it is to acquire clinical-stage bio company Affinvax for $2.1 billion upfront and up to $1.2 billion in potential development milestones. This is the kind of deal I'm expecting for Sareum in due course. Good luck, Brighty
