The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
you're half right dtyland.. the Feb high (intraday) was actually 38 or 39p - I remember that day well. It did close though at 33.5, so yes, we are higher than that right now. More importantly, we've retested and broken the prevailing downtrend that began in October 2010 (!!)
I just received my covid test from ICL/Ipsos Mori as part of their randomised testing study.
The fact it’s a Chinese brain-tickler from a company called Wuxi Nest Biotechnology based out of Jiangsu is a bit disappointing.
Killian, you’re correct. Telephoned orders always take priority over online orders. I’ve know this for a while and it was confirmed to me by my broker. It applies whether you’re placing a buy or sell order. The fee is higher but you’re much more likely to execute at the price you want by doing it this way.
Marvellous vindication of my long held view that this will come right eventually. So much to look forward to. Well done everyone that held. Happy days.
It was never 51p in November last year. Try early 2014
15 minute rest you can do yourself. There you go.
Ah, I see you mentioned it earlier. As you were.
Hypermarlin, I believe the boots test is from Lumira. https://www.lumiradx.com/us-en/what-we-do/diagnostics/test-technology/antigen-test
..what are some of you like? The CEO sold some shares. End of story.
As others have pointed out, he would be barred from selling prior to poor news.
Nothing to see here.
Bluetiger “it gets 4D off AIM and onto NASDAQ”.
Not quite. We will remain listed on AIM, it’s a dual listing.
Glad you’re back BB.
Lynthip, your comment “We don't need to social distance down here, the hospitals are empty” is the reason they’ll be full in a month.
It’s attitudes like that that will prolong this crisis, not anything the government dies or doesn’t do.
Incredible that you think like that, though I suspect many more think the same as you.
I know this might sound a bit crass, given how long a lot of us have been waiting, but I think we could all do with being a little more patient. Seriously.
Don’t shoot me Rooky, I wrote this just as you were posting your comment.
Things have improved significantly since the 4p days and we now have, at least to some degree, meaningful communications from the company.
I sold out fairly recently but bought a small amount back soon after. I’ve been lucky with some covid shares so will get back here closer to the level of my previous position. I didn’t really think too hard about it.
The rationale I used was simply “Do I think this will happen?” And to my mind, the answer is yes.
That’s yes, irrespective of my frustrations. And oh boy, there’s a lot to be frustrated about.
But it will happen. And it’s happening now.
Incrementally, we are building very solid foundations and I do rather think some holders (quite fairly) underestimate a) the perception of AFC by the kind of companies and organisations we hope to one day have as customers, and b) the efforts of AFC to engage with these people.
I sense there’s a lot more going on than some think, and if one thing is for sure, we can certainly expect the unexpected. Who anticipated Jüllich or EE? Another gem from the leftfield might just happen. Oh and we have the membrane.
Rather like getting back with an ex, I’m treating this as a new relationship. I’m happy to wait a few years for kids though.
I agree 100%. So much to look forward to, the patient investor will be richly rewarded. That’s why I’m in.
I wish I had a bit more available cash, gutted to be missing out at this level. Completely overcooked IMO
Good to see you here Newboy. GL
Try 249p for size. That’s my average :-(
Who knows.. one day..
Cheers Eddie. It’s a few pence higher than my previous average but hopefully that wont matter too much in the future if all goes well. Maybe I’ve committed the sin of becoming emotionally attached but with all of the potential here (and I’m talking years not months) I just couldn’t not be in. GL
Been in since 90p a few weeks ago but have now trebled my original position over the last few days and reduced my average quite nicely. I’m fairly sure this was a good decision. We shall see! Either way! I’m happy to watch this play out. Best of luck to all holders
Cheers Eddie and others for the kind words when I left. I'm in again, albeit with much reduced holding. I had a decent week last week and just couldn't resist buying back. Mrs Brighterlater was surprised that I'd sold after all these years and asked at the time "Was that wise..?" I said that, for now, I think so, but who really knows? Talking about it today, she said "Well, you're either and idiot or a genius.." I asked her which. Her answer: "I'm not entirely sure. Yet"
GLAH ;-)
