Re: Can somebody explain why on Friday at 8:28am there is a candle stick that goes down to 82p
- I saw that too. What’s all that about? Any TA people like to comment?
Sorry didn't see Athansius's post. I think that's all cleared up then. Roll on Monday..
Hi Notes, it's a single trade. It would be great if it wasn't and I'd love to be wrong.
Thanks dtyland. Yes, an L2 subscription is well overdue. And I wasn’t aware of the new stock exchange page, cheers for that.
Having seen the L2, FCI and Athansius have it right.. it’s a single trade. That alone doesn’t explain the activity on L2 so I’m of the view something is afoot. A moderate gap up on Monday’s open would be welcome, and not wholly unexpected. But of course I could be completely wrong.
Yes, in a manner of speaking. I don’t tweet but do have an account: @adam101
Diversified, I’d love to see those L2 screenshots.
Is there any way you could upload these to a cloud service like Dropbox and post a link? On the one hand, the rapid succession of trades at that volume makes me think ‘glitch’ but then on further thinking, I can’t get ‘massive buyer’ out of my head..!
Are you invested here Phoenixinvestor?
Nearly 15% up as I write this... I wonder if this dog is finally waking up? Perhaps we're on our way to getting some 'shareholder value'. Who knows. This once had such great potential - but it has been squandered by the ineffectiveness of the BOD. I'm locked it at 249p and as stated before, I've effectively written this off. It's been a useful lesson though. I realise now more than ever, you don't buy the company you buy the people. And our lot just aren't commercially savvy. I'd be happy to be proved wrong and that it's not all trials, tests, piddly orders and jam tomorrow. Genuinely hoping this turns around, but based on past performance my expectations, for now, are low.
It mentions: ..”prospective” ability to operate free from platinum group metals...I thought it ‘is’ platinum free, or am I getting mixed up?
And Herr Harbers has expressed an interest. I’m m sure Tom’s on the case..
Welcome Tim. Just my penny's worth - if these have cost you nothing then it may be worth just hanging on to them. The advice to take profits is good too. I've been here for yonks and nearly sold out when the price was in the high thirties but didn't. I regretted that decision at the time, and as the price slid back further, but I always felt that even at 38p, the price had further to go so I'm glad to still be in. A better investor than me may have traded them at that point and bought back in lower, it's all about what's right for you at the time. I'm not sure what your financial goals are but you're (I assume) still young and this goes very well in your favour. As The Old Bee says, you've got some good names in your portfolio. The benefit of being a younger investor is that your time horizon is longer and therefore you can expose yourself to more risk than someone who's approaching retirement, for example. You mentioned this is becoming more interesting than you thought. That's excellent! As another poster commented, these share would have been chosen either for what they are doing now, or indeed what they will be doing later. The thing they all have in common though is that your grandfather would have had some level of interest or knowledge about them, what they do, etc. It's unlikely they were picked at random. Research is paramount and will help you hugely in making informed decisions. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
The Meerkat clearly knows something...
Fred, I worry for yours.
I meant summise.. ffs
I note the word ‘proposals’. These are more than just enquiries, surely? In my business, ‘proposals’ address specific clients needs and take a considerable amount of time and work to pull together. I can only dummies then that there are definite signs of like in the sales pipeline. On face value, this is extremely encouraging. “In addition to construction, several other industries, including EV charging and ports have also seen uplifts in the number of proposals we are working on at present.“
No problem PL
... there’s just one more thing
Thank you Cautious. I have a similar view.
Thanks PL, I’m aware the article is dated. I simply asked ‘any thoughts on this?’ - Mologic and AVCT signed a development agreement some years ago so I thought the question was quite reasonable.
