As reported on 2nd March the required permits have been granted to enable the Company to operate the Gold Ridge mine. During the lockdown period the Company has carefully reviewed available data and has reviewed proposals from US based contractors to carry out exploration work on un-worked ground, between levels 4 and 6 of the Gold Prince Mine.

These proposals are being pursued and Christian Schaffalitzky, one of the Company's Non-Executive Directors, and Rolf Gerritsen are working on establishing and implementing steps to help MetalNRG de-risk the operations and bring the Gold Prince Mine back into long term sustainable production."

Well, I'm in quandary...been holding 2M+ at circa 0.25 since September 19....Hmm.....now wondering if I should 'top-up' 1M or so (which will ruin my average) ....or just let it ride...I know MNRG are poised to go ballistic within the next week or so..... but I would appreciate more experienced/learned views...:)

JV...1.2-1.5...on rig location 3p..conformation of well success 5p+..
As mentioned 3p might not be inconceivable by September/October..with good results (which are pretty much guaranteed)!
Only your judgement can decide.
With Cameroon coming on track (and Chinese rig provider/operator - COSL onboard (which I believe JA has negotiated a cheaper deal for the Seeker - considering the expense laid out for our 'rig - specific' survey, it would have to be a heck of a good deal...unless they might be the 'other' JV partner.
The Cameroon operations will pale into insignificance...Lol... Not to mention our Namibian 'massive' prospects (Total - our neighbours - soon to come online) ...

I am fully confident on the future path with TRP. Wouldn't have sold my other shares at a loss to to 'top up/bump up' my holding here or otherwise... Take a look at GGP to see what can happen in 3 months.

After getting rid of my 'Falklands shares' my PF is now 'blue'... Won't get too 'cheesed-off' now checking up from time to time... Mainly thanks to MNRG (Sorry don't usually plug other shares - Main Market, 360M shares in issue, about to fly.... ;) Possible comfortable semi-retirement looming :)

Agreed, next couple of days/weeks will be pivitol for TRP.
My intention is to pay-off my mortgage and semi-retire only now need circa 3p from TRP alone...IMO easily achieved by the year end (end of mortgage holiday would be better :)

Big spread disguising 'buy' trades.

Just sold out most of my under-performing shares at a loss and reduced my average in TRP, might be a gamble but I'm more than convinced I'll regain my losses and some (in a big way very soon).
News on all fronts expected in June (oh... that'll be Monday.. ish :)...

Drilling Rig in close proximity, POO increasing , COVID restrictions easing etc .. Just awaiting a confirmation RNS on completion of the JV.

Looks like the Arizona Covid restrictions are starting to lift... Hopefully travel restrictions will follow suit.
Fantastic news. Hopefully we will now see some progress with Gold Ridge then generate funds for the 'further projects'.....
IMHO, the way POO and more importantly Gas prices are going.... Won't be long for game/life changing prospects for LT Holders (3-6 months IMO).

Yes indeed, JA did mention earlier in a podcast that he would "rather have 15% of something rather than 0% of nothing" therefore if the right deal came along (Chinese or whoever) I know my investment here is in good hands.
IMHO with the high value fields (even at current POO - remember we only need a further +6$ PB to become more than viable) Cameroon and Namibia will be game/life changers for many LT Holders (3-12months).

Strangely enough, after a few other fiascos (best not mention) Addax were subsequently bought over by a Chinese O&G company 'Sinopec'.
(Sorry too much time reminiscing 'rehydrating my plants' and myself' in my potting shed/greenhouse this afternoon.
Hope it's still 'Sunshine on Lieth' :)

OB, good research. I worked on a couple of projects for Addax Petroleum (Nigeria) many years ago, one was a 'flexi tie-back' from the FPSO Sengi Barge to PLEM in field I think it was OML123 or 126?? Not sure... Anyway another project, funny story, I was on a DSV Rockwater1 we sailed all the way to Nigeria from Aberdeen to do another job (think it was for Addax also) we were to install some Subsea pipelines to the FPSO Knockando... When we got their we setup for operations only to find the company (Addax??) supplied us and their team with the wrong information (local seasonal tidal currents, wind directions etc..) anyway after 'risk assessing' the situation we found we couldn't deploy/recover our 'dive bell' safely.... So the job was quickly renamed 'Operation No Can Do!!'.... Lol... We then turned around and went home.... BTW got a cracking tan :)
Don't know if any of my Addax contacts would be willing to help.. LOL...

Once mobilisation of project equipment begins the rig is on 'ticket' (contract).
Our equipment is in storage in Cameroon.
JA likely brokered a percentage deal on fuel/shipping costs to get it to the Cameroon. Common practice in the industry.
