Could mean there are 'Big Buys' waiting to be filled..but MM's need to 'raise' the bid (to entice sellers) rather than lower the SP (hence potentially reducing their cut.)?.... Only guessing... I'm sure more educated folk on here will inform us.

Held up pretty well today considering another 'Black Monday' for the markets :)
Oh...unless someone is having a laugh....or for those who believe in MM codes...(updated 2020)..bit sceptical myself...but however... It's here in 'black n white'..(see link).
200 - I need Shares badly but do not take the stock down.

Just putting this out there for comment..
Of course, there may be a simple explanation as to why we haven't got news yet. The Director Deal on the 28th August, 'may' have implications regarding FCA rules on 'insider trading' i.e. '30 day closed period' (before substantial news can be released) in which a PDMR 'buying' shares will have a material impact (i.e. massive rise) on the SP... or does this only refer to posting "half year or full year results"?
If so, I guess this week is an ideal opportunity to grab some more at these 'very low' prices :) but I may be wrong.. and news might drop anytime ??
Anyone got a more educated 'trading' opinion???

JA is usually prompt at updating on 'timelines' etc.. possibly waiting until after the conference to give us an accurate/up-to-date operations report along with the funding/JV deal.
I would imagine he would be attending (virtually) this African EP Summit (16-17th Sept)

Hey OB, was expecting a drop in the SP today due to (potential) massive news tomorrow.
I've got the feeling JA is going to progress Cameroon on his (TRP) own.. We should've heard from OilR by now..
I recon his patience has run dry (and the fact that TRP had to wait until the 15th to annul their interest). JA has 'deep pockets' and needs to get this off the ground...(either that or he has got the Chinese onboard - I recon they would also like a bite of Namibia and SA).
Remember the Rig Survey has been done and the equipment (including long lead items) are in 'country' accumulating costs...which is only a 'cash burn' at the moment.
Also, Cameroon have lifted their travel restrictions.. so really no COVID excuse for progressing with the program.

Who said I hate UFO?? (apart from the folk who 'lambasted' me for taking my comment out of context) For me sentiment/ethics doesn't (or shouldn't) come into dealing shares. I own lots of 'unethical' shares that I (or the average 'tree-hugger') should hate. I don't dislike UFO but I wish they would make some progress, rather than spouting the same news again and again also diluting the share value..where has the last £1M+ (not including the latest 'fund raise') gone?....their acreage has probably got more hole in it than an elderly seemstresses thumb...

My 'pish' comment was regarding 'Mojolse comment "Brent going to drop below 40 possibly 30".....I've been in here long enough (and previously Adrian Metals), nothing has changed for this company other than the 'catchy' name change to UFO. This year has just been a 'cash burn' and more placings pumping out the same news (read the the previous RNS's..not just the last one!) ...oh and also the 'herd of rampers' that suddenly appeared.
Lol... Bring back 'Simonsfuture' ;)

Mojolse, lol..fyi..I stopped investing here after the second 'placing' this year and the projects being no further on since last year (also under the previous name Adrian Metals!) only advising of more to come..btw, my other investments are performing very well :)
Applegarth/distruptor, lol..my first UFO post was 22 Oct 2019 16:37 when I first bought in. Fyi Warren Buffett said "buy low - sell high"...now I'm only holding 4.5M @ 0.179 after a selling a percentage on the latest spike. Good luck :)

One of my previous posts...as you're so interested.

Evening all,
Yes, I like many UFO holders lost a few grand today.
Well, unfortunately I tend to agree with a couple of previous posts.
With all the potential and hype, I was expecting Bill to return with more positive news even a JV deal from the site visit to Mexico (was it just a 'busmans' winter break with the family?)... Or was it a case of "Mr Good, it will cost you £xxxK/£xM for us to develop your prospects".... "Err Hmm. ...I best go home and talk to the directors....as we don't really have any spare cash and WE don't really want to trade OUR shares in the company either.."
On the 'First Class' flight home...."Hmmm... darling could you hire a 2CV, a couple of shovels and get that DSO moved from.....you know...that Australian site by the beach... we bought last year.....we will be visiting there soon"...
Still holding, but more than a bit peeved.

I most probably be talking out of my 'rear end' but, I think the 'latest financial statement' would cover the cost (under current 'Rig hire rate costs') of the costs of 'assets' mentioned 'rig, tools in country etc' in the last RNS.
Noted, there was no mention of OilR in the statement, so just wondering if we will fund the Cameroon operations without OilR? It would be a massive boost to our SP if we could avoid 'farming-out' 25%+ of the costs - hence gaining + XX 25% of the reserves.... Any thoughts??

Ok, I've been DMOR...and previously mentioned 'Humber O&G' as the target.. they are linked to UJO, EDR, RDB and 'Montrose Industries Limited'.
After going through their respective RNS's, UJO, EDR and RDB have all recently been buying up 'Humbers' interests in their onshore UK licence 'PEDL 183 West Newton field' & 'PEDL253 Biscathorpe'.
Interestingly Reabold Resources PLC (RDB) are also linked to the Romanian operator 'Danube Petroleum Limited' subsidiary of ADX...any thoughts?

Greggs, I know the feeling..I've been holding now for 1yr! A couple of more weeks won't matter, certainly not going 'rainbow chasing' at this stage.. especially as CFEP have now posted a 0.9 position on the L2 order book ;)
