Tilburn I agree Bolivia was a long shot, it is a good sign as for me they are focused on Ghana and securing the deal.
I didn’t buy into Clon because of lithium and to be fair. I think they started that punt when Chips were down else where and now it’s not on the radar as they are completely consumed by the Ghana Tano 2 play.

Mate no one is interested in Bolivia most are here for Ghana. If that is true about Bolivia then I am sure they will catch up with the house keeping but they are usually slow off the block so not surprised

The amended area for exploration and production rights for the Tano 2A Petroleum Agreement for the block are set out as below. We now await the Ministry to implement the agreed settlement and process the same expeditiously.

Joebop fyi my only AIM "holding" at the moment is clon; I tend to pick one speculative aim stock that I see possible explosive value in and the rest of my investment portfolio is main market type stock. I held UKOG the first time round and then bought in again around 1.2 (when I saw it start to move again) and then traded it I did think it would start another bull run but when I saw it fail, I sold; if you are an experienced trader then you should know that traders that make money are entitled to change their minds. I am not holding a position in UKOG at the moment and see more possible value in Clon. As for my AIM track record, it stands me well, I am sitting in my last success from SLOG with I bought into around 4/5p and sold majority for a very healthy profit. On the other front my background is oil and gas, subsea, mainly in west and east africa and investment banking in the 90s.

I am not interested in moves of clon sp based on speculation I am in this for the long run to see first oil/gas then I will take some profit. This is my objective. If clon sell out then so be it, we will still make money. If all this goes to rat **** then so be it, but i think it is more probable now that Pan Andean and therefore clon will benefit from Ghanas oil and gas successes. The fact of the matter is that clon have a licence (large block in exceptional area) with strong legal claim and with all the cleansing of Ghana Oil and Gas Industry the possibilities of success are becoming more like probabilities. The eyes of big oil and analysts are watching what happens with clon as it will either make it a less riskier place to invest or if clon gets steamrolled then it maybe a case that there other other better bets to risk capex than Ghana ie; Mozambique. What will happen if Ghana steam roll clon it will get logged and companies like IHS will mark Ghana as risky on Sanctity Of Contract and would then have a reputation of not honouring obligations as they are trying to benefit from the revenues of oil and gas. Just have to sit tight for now and watch as things will start to play out. GLA

Mate it depends on the details of a potential deal not just PA ratification plus it’s worth noting the market cap value now verses what it could be on part ownership of a huge stake in a block that is in a sweet spot in Ganan..... and it is nit 2 mil squid ;)

Good post Tilburn, certainly not many scenarios remain. I am convinced CLON. will have a major interest in block 1 in a JV with a another. I was waiting for the Exon PA and then ratification of CLONs PA, then we should see the details of the deal. Whatever the deal is we should see drilling this year. Ghana can’t take their foot off the pedal when it comes to their exploration programme and they have in easy reach the infrastructure to capitalise off block 1. It has to be a JV with Tullow making it less risk to tie into their infrastructure. It’s iust a matter of time now. I have done my research and the probabilities of success look better every day. This for me clon is on the verge of coming off my speculative list. On further news of ratification we should see a major re-rate. I am holding and will not take profit until I see the stuff coming out of the seabed commercially. GLA

I agree block 1 it is, block 5 is deepewater if I remember in any case why would clon agree to swap the areas doesn’t make sense? Block 5 could contain huge reservoirs but would require specialist subsea knowledge. GNPC selling block 1 could mean selling out parts of block one. In any case I don’t rely on media as an indicator of what is already factual.
