The 11 recipient municipalities are located in the areas affected by the closure of the thermal power plants closed or in the process of closing Litoral de Almería (Carboneras, Almería); New Bridge (Bélmez, Córdoba); Andorra (Alloza, Andorra and Híjar, Teruel); Soto Ribera (Bueño, Asturias); Anllares (Páramo del Sil, in El Bierzo); La Robla (La Robla, León); Velilla (Villalba de Guardo, Palencia); Meirama (Cerceda, A Coruña) and As Pontes (As Pontes, A Coruña).

The Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO), through the Ciudad de la Energía Foundation (CIUDEN), has published this Wednesday the resolution to award aid to local entities affected by the process of closing thermoelectric plants in coal, as reported by Ministry sources through a statement. In total there are 15 beneficiary projects proposed by 11 municipalities that will access aid for a total amount of 5,459,568.58 euros. The implementation of these actions, which must be carried out in a period of 24 months, will generate at least 160 full-time jobs.

Hopefully a similar release tomorrow at 1pm ...let’s see. Thanks Trade.

Castile and Leon | Ministry of Economy and Finance

The Activa Industry 4.0 program is jointly developed by the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the School of Industrial Organization (EOI) -public foundation attached to the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade (MINCOTUR) -, within the framework of a collaboration agreement between both entities, to promote the digital transformation of industrial companies in Castilla y León.

In the 2020 call for this program, a total of 39 industrial companies belonging to different sectors will participate in Castilla y León. At present, a situation diagnosis is being carried out, in charge of entities accredited at the national level and specialized in Industry 4.0 advice, technological innovation and digital transformation to, later, identify the priority actions in their digital transformation process and define the roadmap for its implementation.

The total cost of the service object of the aid is 9,790 euros per beneficiary industrial company. The ICE assumes just over a third of the total cost of each advice to companies in Castilla y León, around 35%, so its financial contribution amounts to 135,135 euros in this call. The rest of the amount is covered by the EOI and the companies themselves, which assume a part of the cost of the services they receive for an amount of 605 euros. For the last semester of 2021, it is planned to publish a second call with the aim of benefiting a maximum of 40 new companies.

In addition, the ICE contributes with the accompaniment, monitoring and evaluation of the advice received by the companies of Castilla y León, and is also part of the Selection Commission of the beneficiary companies.

At the national level, this edition of the Active Industry 4.0 Program corresponding to the 2020 call has received 492 applications from companies, for 370 places called. Of the total, 43 applications come from Castilla y León, which, together with Navarra and Extremadura, are the communities that offer the most places in the program.

Of the 39 applications approved in Castilla y León, 9 correspond to companies from Valladolid and many others from Burgos; 5 from Segovia; 4 in each of the provinces of León, Ávila and Salamanca; as well as 2 from Palencia and Soria.

So yes Trade is correct there is still an awarding of funding to municipalities taking place tomorrow. Just no mention of EUZ this time.....interesting...like I said before I think Trade is spot on...we will get funding from local government....all part of the bigger plan as mentioned by a well read poster yesterday...game on imo.

Castilla y León reported 297 new cases of COVID-19 this Tuesday, compared to 150 yesterday, due to the effect of the weekend, although they did not reach 300. In addition, deaths in hospitals increased from the three reported this Monday to the five of this day, in which also the discharges in these centers grew until 67. The active outbreaks also increased to 399, with 2,293 related infections, according to the data provided by the Ministry of Health.

Likewise, of the 297 new cases, 276 correspond to infections diagnosed the day before. Burgos accounts for the highest number of new positive cases, with 76. They are followed by León, with 65, and Valladolid, with 49. Next are Segovia (29), Salamanca (28), Ávila and Palencia (15), Soria ( 12) and Zamora (eight).

The number of total infected since the beginning of the pandemic thus stands at 229,086, of which 222,286 were detected through diagnostic tests for active infection. Valladolid, León, Burgos and Salamanca absorb most of the cases, with 50,686, 39,752, 35,058 and 31,877, respectively. They are followed by Palencia (18,962), Segovia (17,222), Zamora (13,249), Ávila (12,520) and Soria (9,760).

As for the deceased, a total of 5,706 people lost their lives in hospitals due to the virus. Thus, three more deaths were recorded in Valladolid, so the figure rises to 1,159 and one in Burgos, to a total of 703, and Zamora, to a total of 428. In the rest they remained unchanged: Ávila (339), León (1,147), Palencia (444), Salamanca (835), Segovia (366) and Soria (285).

Active outbreaks increased from 387 to 399 -12 more- with 2,293 linked cases -54 more-. Most of these active outbreaks are in Burgos (86, five more than yesterday, with 507 linked cases), Valladolid (63 and 304), Salamanca (57, three more, with 376 positives), and León (56 outbreaks, one more and 270 matched cases). Next are Segovia (53, two more with 277), Ávila (23, four more and 141 cases), Soria (23, one less and 122 cases), Palencia (20, one more, and 147 cases), Ávila ( 19 cases, two less than yesterday and 127 cases) and Zamora (18 outbreaks, three less, and 149 cases).

Any mining companies balance sheet show reserves as an asset. The problem we have is we have some in the indicated category which cannot be included at this stage...next stage which is measured and say we prove 50 millions worth...this SP will jump to 1 quid overnight. IMO.

100% agree Steven. Once we reach “ measured resource “ it can be included as an asset in balance sheet. The Balance sheet will drive this SP in the future I believe. I don’t see a problem with an initial 100m worth of resources in the measured category....Best D

Set against a background of rising commodity prices, Europa continues to add value to the Toral Project which now presents multiple options to crystalise value going forward. With this in mind, TPI has reassessed some of the findings from Bara’s November 2020 economic study of the Project. Taking current Zn/Pb/Ag prices, for example, as opposed to the 3-year trailing averages assumed by Bara, LOM total projected revenues increase to US$1,016 million from US$963 million previously (as shown overleaf). TPI also considers that the Project has potential to expand beyond its assessed 12-year LOM, recognising that the original drilling programme had terminated at a point when it was still producing highest measured zinc grades with the prospect remaining open at depth and to the east. This, together with the fact that it is located within the EU, where asset security, ESG and supply chain transparency/metals passporting is expected to become increasingly important factors, suggests Toral’s value and desirability will continue to increase as it moves towards a final production decision.

The Europa Metals Iberia company will report next Wednesday on the “Toral Project ”, a bet in El Bierzo to extract Zinc, Lead and Silver in the Comarca, as detailed by the company in the call to the Media . The current research permit in which the project is framed runs until 2023.

The Toral Project is committed to the circular economy and the consolidation of the social and economic fabric of the project's area of influence with a type of indoor mining based on sustainability and cutting-edge techniques in the international underground mining sector.
The details about the jobs that this project will generate in the Region and other specifications such as the initial investment are not yet public and will be announced next Wednesday during a press conference in Camponaraya.

Very interesting you should say that Sheds....seems very similar to Merlins quote when we first acquired Tora.
Merlin Marr-Johnson, Ferrum Crescent's Senior Project Adviser, commented:
"Though high grade ore has historically been mined at Toral, the project has not previously been systematically explored. Historic soil geochemistry surveys are incomplete and the principal logic of regional structural controls on mineralisation have not yet been applied, despite evidence of numerous artisanal workings at surface and drill intersections at depth. Historic drilling has not seemingly tested shallow targets nor intersected the full thickness of the mineralised corridor. I believe that the Toral asset, in particular, has real potential to host a substantial resource and it will therefore be the primary focus of our planned structured work programme as we seek to refine our geological theories before commencing drilling activities."
