The Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migrations has only approved, until mid-March, one of four requests for Minimum Vital Income (IMV) in Castilla y León after having admitted a total of 10,932 of the 42,981 valid applications submitted by citizens in risk of extreme poverty, especially in households with the presence of minors. Therefore, and until that date, which is the last one provided by the central government, the IMV reaches 10,412 households in the Community in which 27,194 people live, of which 41 percent are minors. The average payroll for this non-contributory Social Security benefit amounts to 459 euros.
