With the torrent of money about to arrive through European funds, few entrepreneurs, especially SMEs and freelancers, know how and where to gather information or present their projects. "Most of the business fabric has never participated in a tender, which undoubtedly represents a handicap", warns Luis Socías from the Ceoe. So what do you need to know to take the first steps towards the Next Generation?

How will the distribution be made? The general criterion is that of competitive competition, through two tools: public contract tenders and the call for subsidies.

-Who can access? Both Administrations and companies through public-private consortia, especially to participate in the PERTE, although companies can also present their projects individually.

How to know the calls for projects? Royal Decree Law 36/2020 established the implementation of a "single window" for companies interested in receiving funds. At the moment, that window does not exist and, today, the best option for the entrepreneur is to go to the CEOExEuropa digital platform. In it, the employers' association offers access to an alert service with all tenders and calls for subsidies, both from their budgets and ordinary European funds from the entire Spanish public sector (from a City Council to a Ministry), as well as those with charge to Next Generation EU funds.

- What basic requirements must be met? To begin, the company must be up to date with tax payments and with Social Security. From the CEOE they explain that the projects presented must add other conditions such as responding to any of the 10 'lever policies' established by the Spain Plan It can be accessed on the Moncloa website (such as reducing the carbon footprint, improving the skills of employees, optimizing costs through digitization, etc.) or having a high degree of maturity. That is, be prepared to run the money immediately.

-How long will it take to assess a project? The norm establishes that "the dispatch of the files will have priority over any other, and the control body must decide within five business days."

-When will the money reach my company? Once the project is approved, the promoter will be able to access 50% of the funds as an advance, without having to wait for the start of its execution. Who said this ? As a matter of course, the Company
continues to regularly identify, review and evaluate other projects and opportunities that could potentially add value to the group, but no such opportunities are currently being actioned/pursued.

Hi 10bagger....the way I look at it is that MC had the balls to say it in the last RNS.....I hope it’s a bit like telling your child you will buy him or her an ice cream....they expect that you mean you buying it....NOW !! Lols....my guess is fairly soon as in months.

Thanks Philo for ur response...whilst I agree to an extent...ie PIs may not look at a balance sheet...they go with the herd...:-) the understanding I have is that Corporate investors would look at a balance sheet of any company they would be investing in...for me the new accounting reporting regulations when it comes to explorers is a ground breaking moment...and I feel is definitely part of or plays a role in the anticipated value event. GL though and I’m fairly certain we are in the right place at the right time....as is EUZ.

We already have 3.8 million tons of zinc in indicated category....so do the sums and see what the SP could be.....I personally am stunned at the calculation....even after taking off 120 million for setup costs and Capex....and assuming zero grant which imo is highly unlikely....

Mining reporting rules have changed and will be implemented this year.
All SEC reporting companies, other than those who file under the Canada-U.S. Multijurisdictional Disclosure System (MJDS), will be required to comply with the new rules for their first fiscal year beginning on or after January 1, 2021.
Now if you read the new regulations carefully you will find that reserves can now be included at PFS stage whereas before it was BFS....
A HUGE rerate is on the cards for all mining exploration companies imho.

I agree Sheds...also if the 2mill spent on current drilling campaign, assays,ore sorting, Mets, etc....adds another 20-25% to NPV and LOM it is money well spent imo. The real value I believe will come when the indicated resources are added in to the balance sheet....this will force a rerate imo.
So the half yearly report due end of June May even have this included....let’s see.

Heavy focus on portraying EUZ as a Spanish company....suppose we are with 100% ownership of EUZ Iberia...the local management team with Elena doing a great job IMO....maybe we get a blank cheque presigned soon :-) a bit like buttering up a fresh slice of bread I suppose....:-)

So that makes it 8 holes...so far....@ .5 mil a pop ....4 mill already spent ? If MC was right with his half a mill per hole statement. So that in my records...puts us 2 mill in the red :-(..... maybe the BOD already know something that we don’t....but I smells news must be imminent then....some explanation must be forthcoming. GLA

Interesting question Des...In the initial agreement with Goldquest this was the clause you are referring to....
“ Lundin also retains a one-time back-in right to reacquire a fifty-one (51%) percent interest in the Toral Project once GoldQuest provides written notice to Lundin within 10 days of the following events occurring: delineation of an inferred resource on the Toral Project of greater than 1 Million tonnes of lead and zinc (contained), as demonstrated in a NI 43-101 compliant report, and completion of not less than 5,000 meters of drilling.”
Now both these conditions have been met imo and a lot more than 10 days has elapsed...so I guess we can safely assume as far as a buyback option goes ....Lundin are out the picture...unless of course as Sheds has already pointed out....we are awaiting news on the EU grant front in order to maximize value for shareholders with all potential suitors placed on hold. Well said Sheds...I agree 100% with “I also have a hunch that possible EU grants could be delaying whatever deal is being negotiated in private. Just a theory but I'm thinking why would they want to give up a chunk of the asset in a JV or take on a heap of debt for example if pending EU funds could allow us take this further independently? “
