It is expected to boost 30 innovations (new products/processes proposals) around the “Smart and Green Mining” concept, with the final objective of boosting their competitiveness, increasing the regional growth and number of jobs.

That’s 2 years ago ….must be news soon.

The actions will be coordinated and monitored by ICE (PP2), and developed by ICE and other regional stakeholders such as Universities, Technological Centers and Foundations. • Green economy in mining processes: best practices, knowledge
and integration possibilities in the regional mining sector
• Promoting and fostering of cross sectorial innovation and integration of different activity sector
• Promote the generation / coordination of the regional capacity building around these sectors, integration of activities
• Fostering the public-private collaboration between regional entities and national and international ones in the indicated field
• Integration of skills associated to the different sectors

I think EUZ have landed with their a*** in the butter so to speak. AH by all accounts would have added tremendous value to these negotiations and I am convinced we have a number of value events coming up soon. Out of interest sake I googled how long does it take to complete a preliminary feasibility study and got this result…. How long do feasibility studies take?
about 60 to 90 days

I think it’s already been stated by Highside …the PFS is a pre requisite to open many doors….possibly even including the grant/funding….this SP will be stagnant for a while as we have no liquidity with only 50m out there….so it will be a stalemate until the event happens I guess..

The Just Transition fund is funding the retraining program for coal miners…..perhaps the funding for production may come from here as well….just my thoughts.

In the bigger scheme of things….$80m is…..peanuts. :-)

That’s a stunning find Sheds…well done. So effectively what you saying is that the CDTI grant coverered the complete drilling campaign….I tend to agree with you on this…so we are then imo fully funded for PFS…..I also think that when LR stated we are funded for certain key elements of PFS….what he actually meant was that we are funded for the unfinished key elements of the PFS….don’t forget how much detail the SS went into…as well as latest Jorc as well as latest yet to be announced Mets ….all the key elements of the PFS are already completed.
This being the case….we are fully funded until end of PFS imo.

The end of coal mining and power generation has left basins fatally wounded. From the outset, the words ‘just transition’ were coined to define government commitments that have been deflated over time. Yesterday the first projects to occupy the Compostilla II space in Cubillos del Sil were announced. Perhaps it is true that a good number of hectares will be filled in. But obviously something much more ‘fair’ is missing, which facilitates industrial activity and serves to create a good number of jobs, although it will surely always be in a terribly lower figure than that provided by coal and thermal power plants.

Endesa's willingness to push things forward seems commendable, but the question is about the true commitment of the public administrations. Society must remain vigilant and press for the power company itself to act with greater determination and for the institutions to encourage, as has been done in other territories, the arrival of business initiatives that truly provide hundreds of jobs as had been announced for that ' just transition '.
