Strange you mention that Sheds…I also quizzed him on “ One third of all gold is produced as a by product of copper, lead, and zinc production. ” and wanted to know if the latest Mets will contain by products as I guess the PFS will….Needless to say….no comment.

We have always been told we are primarily a Zinc lead and silver play…and the priority was to build up the business case on these 3 resources. Cu has in the past taken a back seat as such as the BOD imo could not really justify at that time to spend funds on further exploring Cu when we have has yet not lodged a title for exploitation….of the Zinc lead and silver.
Sounds like it will be changing soon though and some form of strategy is being developed to further explore the Cu…all goodly in my opinion and I am very confident that at some stage Cu will be in the Jorc….time will tell but I’m looking forward to the Mets update and the PFS. Best D

The latest Mining Statistics of Spain reveals that the Community has 483 active exploitations, which represent a business volume close to 363 million euros. 73.5% of the deposits are related to quarry products; 20.9% with ornamental rock; 3.3% with industrial minerals; 2.1% with energy and, finally, 0.2% are included in metal mining. To these numbers must be added the 26 mineral and thermal water exploitations, over which the Board exercises exclusive powers.

The data show the strategic importance of the sector for the economy of Castilla y León, both for its link with the endogenous resources of the territory and for its ability to stimulate and fix the population in rural areas. Money…I know previously we thought that CAML were interested in buying us….but the more I researched …the more I realised that large mining houses are really going to struggle to procure assets from minors …especially when the EU and Spain are trying themselves to mine, enrich and recycle their own resources….imo.

The Type of Study Required to Support a Reserve Determination
The New Mining Disclosure Rules permit either a preliminary feasibility study or a feasibility study to support the determination and disclosure of mineral reserves.
A “preliminary feasibility study” (or “pre-feasibility study”) is defined as a comprehensive study of a range of options for the technical and economic viability of a mineral project that has advanced to a stage where a qualified person has determined (in the case of underground mining) a preferred mining method, or (in the case of surface mining) a pit configuration, and in all cases has determined an effective method of mineral processing and an effective plan to sell the product.
A pre-feasibility study must include a financial analysis based on reasonable assumptions, based on appropriate testing, about the modifying factors and the evaluation of any other relevant factors that are sufficient for a qualified person to determine if all or part of the indicated and measured mineral resources may be converted to mineral reserves at the time of reporting. The study’s financial analysis must have the level of detail necessary to demonstrate, at the time of reporting, that extraction is economically viable. In addition, while a pre-feasibility study is less comprehensive and results in a lower confidence level than a feasibility study, a pre-feasibility study is more comprehensive and results in a higher confidence level than an initial assessment.

Money….on the below indicated ie without Cu and without inferred we are already a 3,8 billion dollar mine….but yes you are correct….how big will it get ?
o 39% increase in Indicated contained tonnes of zinc to approximately 251,000 tonnes;
o 30% increase in Indicated contained tonnes of lead to approximately 196,000 tonnes; and
o 40% increase in Indicated contained ounces of silver to approximately 5.2 million ounces.
