Well Bobby...I am pretty sure LR is on top of this and all over it until it is resolved. Yes I agree it does effect the SP and some PR will have to be done....Again no offense meant but you cannot lay this debacle on JSE on EUZs doorstep.... GL.

In fact...what I would love and I am sure many PIs would enjoy is LR putting out a corker of an RNS that one can call a “slingshot RNS’ .....whilst JSE is still temporarily halted......in my dreams I guess....GLA

In addition I posted on Thursday that no one could buy or sell EUZ....no public that I am aware of could trade on Thursday....I even posted along the lines that it was a corporate deal going down...so won’t be surprised if JSE don’t find brokers at fault and they in effect will have to fork the bill to sort out....hopefully a full explanation is given in the SENS when trading resumes.

Come come now Bobby....you just can’t see how they can resolve the sale of shares that don’t exist ? Its called shorting in my book and it’s normally resolved by the buying them back....in this case at a higher price. And I will eat all my vegetables tonight....promise. :-$

Possibly but it’s the same difference between LSE and AIM ....JSE and ALT X ....so EUZ is no longer on the main board of JSE ....So can I please keep the shares I bought legally on Friday Bobby ?

Actually LSE and JSE are not mentioned....it’s AIM and ALTX....

Maybe it’s a cook up because people did not relate Alt x to JSE....they should have used Alt x JSE as opposed to just AltX imo. Glad you not my programmer.

Bobby...it clearly states in the RNS trading will commence post consolidation on both LSE andAlt x which is JSE on 16th July !, confusion reigns with settlement of old shares NOT consolidation.

Well if someone sells shares they don’t own they deserve to be in the dang...it’s called shorting. 51 million shares pre consolidation divide by 500 and we talking 102 000 shares so imo not such a train smash.....GL though.

Aucs...I spoke to Sharon Owens at Sasfin in JHB....she has confirmed what I just posted and says it will take 2 or 3 days to sort out.....GL.

Aucs....were you trying to buy or sell Friday ? If you were trying to buy you would have lost an opportunity to top up. If you were trying to sell....you would have been trying to sell shares you don’t rightfully own....as you said....In this case I believe whoever bought are ok and not effected as they bought at post consolidation price....whoever sold...sold at pre consolidation volumes and post consolidation price....this is the issue imo. Buyers therefore will not be impacted as that was the price at the time on JSE...IMO it’s sellers banks brokers and settlement with JSE that’s impacted most. Would you agree with this rather brief analyses ? GL.

Will see the reversals come through later....imo

On this page...click on EUZ share trades....it shows the 6 trades we have had today plus a bit of Friday’s trades....check the last 3 trades for Friday.

Good luck Aucs....I don’t know how it will be resolved but they are going to struggle to get the shares I bought on Friday as I bought to average down at those prices. My average dropped from R7.50 per share to R4.76 and I’m 85% down on my investment....so how they going to sort this out is beyond me. Best of luck though.

The last trade on this platform was triplicates....check the time stamps...identical...it must be an error....tough being an EUZ shareholder...not for the meek and mild for sure.

For transparency I asked Dan the secretary and he responded as follows:
Just to clarify – I am speaking with Sasfin regarding the volume of shares traded and whether any issues have been raised.
The consolidation of shares on the JSE did not take place on the same day as the Australian and UK registers. The timetable was set out on page 14 of the Company’s Notice of General Meeting.
I responded saying both stock exchanges however were trading under the new consolidated shares from Thursday 16th.
If he responds further I will post the response but it appears no untoward deals have taken place. This being the case no RNS explaining the high number of trades will be forthcoming imo.GLA.

Also in the notes point 2 in the RNS announcing consolidation...no cross border transactions were allowed from Monday 13 th to Thursday 16th...both days inclusive....so from Friday 17th cross border transactions were allowed and that was over 30 odd million traded....also on Thursday when cross border was still closed....15 million traded....so fairly difficult to fathom out.....let’s see...GLA
