Adam Davidson, CEO of Trident Royalties, discusses offtake milestones and catalysts to boost FY24. Watch the video here.
We both see it that way tovoc. Agree europe cant cut off the supply of russian gas. But they will slowly ween themselves off it. Only norway and imported Lng can make up any shortfalls for now. We know the greens wont accept Lng but im starting to see signs they maybe softening on gas exploration closer to home. Interesting times indeed.
Can't see how Europe can keep on importing Russian gas for much longer. A war in Ukraine looks more and more likely. This has elevated European enegy security front and centre now. The Irish govermnet will be aware of this. The need for a secure gas supply just got a whole lot louder. I really do beleive Inishkea will now be the answer. Its only a matter of time.
@isdeer. Couldnt agree more. Im more optimistic that the current energy crisis and geo-politics with russia will force the hand of the current Irish government to act. In the meantime wressle is turning out to be a real gem. As for morocco, Mmmm
Hopefully the penny will drop...

@tovoc. Interesting article. Ireland is pushing ahead with more and more data centres. These require a lot of energy. I believe its only a matter of time before they change course and look closer to home for that energy supoly..

Im also thinking Inishkea could soon be moved from the back burner. A lot more positive signals coming out from Mr Ryan and the EU about gas as a transition fuel. A lot of geo-polictics going on with russia also. Feeling a lot more positive about europa's prospects for 2022.
Yanis you are aware that the Inishkea prospect is drill ready. The site survey for a drilling location is sitting on Mr Ryan's desk and has been since 2019. No amount of PR is going to attract a farmin partner and subsequently a uplift in the share price until Mr R. Decides to come to his senses, which may be starting to happen with the statement regarding enrrgy security. For me one man is standing in the way to unlocking what we potentially have in the slyne basin.
And where exactly is the PR to be applied. Wressle i assume. UJO have been doing that for some time and it hasn't helped their cause. Sentiment is down accross all oil stocks so europa is no different. That argument doesnt hold water imo.
Oilyyy when your at it why dont you blame Simon for cop26, Mr ryan being in charge at dccae, the irish goverment complete lack of a clear energy security policy, the constant bad press of the oil and gas industry and europa not actually being the operator of the wressle discovery. Could any other CEO delivered anything different on those assets No is the simple answer. The jury is still out on Morocco.
Pretty obvious todays drop has everything to do with the new covid variant news. Airline and oil stocks are down right accross the board including my own portfolio

The warning signs on Ireland were evident a long time ago. For me the pivot away from Inishkea to morocco was a smart move. I just hope a rabbit can be pulled out of the hat regarding a farmout of our morocco licenece. Wressle im sure will be a success but its not the company maker i invested for.
Exactly serif.. Some posters here want to blame the current management for the lack of a Ireland farmout when its pretty clear its a political issue. Morocco farmout has been launched. Wressle we are not the operators and the N. Sea could land anytime. Frustrating yes. Blame it all on Simon. No.
Sums up perfectly the crisis in Irelands current energy policy...
